Child Star Celine Yeung Inadvertently Exposed In New Photobook?

Adorable child star Celine Yeung (楊鎧凝) attended an event in West Kowloon recently to promote her new photobook. Although she’s only six years old, Celine already has the experience of a veteran performer, and oozed confidence and enthusiasm when she was on stage to talk to the reporters.

Celine went to South Korea for the photobook. On her most unforgettable memory of the trip, Celine said she had a great time in the playgrounds and eating fried food. “I didn’t drink beer though!” she added wittily.

She also met a friend there, a five-year-old boy, who played with her and showed off his kite-flying skills. She said they communicated through body language and hand signals. Asking if the boy was good-looking, she shyly said, “Don’t let Pakho Chau (周柏豪) hear that!”

Commenting that she wore very little fabric in some of the photos, Celine said she is used to it, as she also wears very little clothes at home. She also said that because she was shooting outside most of the time, she did not get cold.

Celine’s mother expressed that she has never seen the photobook, and she trusted the photographer to choose good photos. Reporters said that Celine wore very little fabric in some of the photos, which seemed to have inadvertently exposed her. Celine’s mother quickly said, “I just saw some of them. They’re very healthy ones! And she has filmed underwear ads before.”

After showing her more of Celine’s photos wearing only underwear, her mother’s face turned dark and said, “I will ask the photographer.” Asking if her she finds the photos inappropriate, she said simply, “I just saw them!”

  1. She’s 6. The word “inadvertently exposed” shouldn’t even be in her vocabulary. Insane.

  2. A photo book with just one child pictures? This is for sale to the public? Who would buy it? Isn’t it creepy for grown people to buy a bunch of photos of a 6 years old girl????

    1. @jjwong

Phonebooks of little girls posing provocatively (known as Lolitas) is very popular in Japan where pedophilia isn’t a crime. This type of subculture has spread elsewhere in Asia.

  3. Sounds like the exact kind of photobook that pedos will buy. I wonder why the mother wasn’t present during the photo shoot. She doesn’t seem to be aware of her daughter’s photos clad in underwear.

  4. i totally agree with all comments above.
who the hell would buy a photo book of a 6 year old child? it’s creepy to the core. who the hell proposed this and why the hell would the mother consent?

  5. I don’t understand why does a 6 year old need a photo book to sell to people. Who are you targeting to buy these photo books. Kids her age won’t be buying them. Just doesn’t make sense to me. Just to make a quick buck? The mother need to know better than that.

    1. @jlau421 Maybe those who are pregnant and wants a pretty girl for a daughter? Nothing wrong with photobooks but what is not right is the way some sentences are framed.

      1. @funnlim I know women who do put up picture of cute adorables babies when they’re pregnant hoping that their child will be as cute. They for some reason think if they look more at the cute kids, that somehow turn their kids cute *shrugs*

But it’s not a whole book for one child. They have an assortment of cute boys or cute girls picture. A whole book of one kid is just creepy. Also in “exposed” swimwear, uuugh, waaaaah?
