Rosamund Kwan Broke Up with Boyfriend of Eight Years?
Since retiring from the entertainment industry, Rosamund Kwan (關之琳) has found success in real estate investments and business ventures. Currently 53 years old, the retired actress has been dating 59-year-old Taiwanese businessman, Chen Tai Ming (陳泰銘) for the last eight years without any intentions to get married.
Despite the seemingly steady relationship, reports alleged that a recent quarrel has caused Rosamund to move out of Chen Tai Ming’s mansion. Often accompanying Rosamund at her beauty company’s events, Chen Tai Ming was noticeably absent from the company’s function since June.
A recent magazine published photos of Chen Tai Ming hiking with Carina Lau (劉嘉玲) while Rosamund, who also enjoys hiking, was nowhere in sight. Speculated to be the cause of the couple’s breakup, Carina responded via a telephone interview, “Everyone is too sensitive. I go hiking every day. No matter who it is, as long as they have the time, I would invite them to go hiking. I also want to invite Chow Yun Fat (周潤發) to go hiking. Chen Tai Ming is also one of my hiking friends. That day, we were hiking and chatting with a group of friends and didn’t know we were being secretly photographed.”
When asked whether she was aware of the relationship issues between Rosamund and Chen Tai Ming, Carina said, “Hiking is a very healthy exercise and I won’t pester my friends about nosy things.”
