Ruffle Trims

Quite a few artistes showed up in ruffled gowns. Best Actor presenter Annie Liu (劉心悠) demanded attention with her white ruffled dress, and Best Actress nominee Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) stunned in pearl lace couture. Many had a double-take when they saw Most Improved Female Artiste winner Ali Lee (李佳芯) in her statement black dress.

“Career Lines”

There is no red carpet without some “career lines” to complete the night. Mandy Wong (黃智雯) and Best Drama presenter Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯) spiffed up the night with some bold red and plunging necklines. Rosina Lam (林夏薇) chose for a safer look, but nonetheless shined with a career line and a pair of statement earrings.

  1. Annie Liu is a beautiful lady but what did she do to her hair? And her dress was average.
Katy’s dress looks much better in photos than on TV.
Based on what I saw on TV, personal favorites include Jessica’s top, Carol’s top, Tracy’s overall image, same applies to Elaine, Natalie was pretty although didn’t fancy her lipstick color, both Kristal and Yvonne Lam appear in pantsuits which look good on them (Yvonne’s accessory was interesting).
Couldn’t stop laughing when Carol commented on Nancy’s royal costume.

  2. I think Rebecca Zhu looks the best, and the dress flatters her figure so amazingly.

Jessica hsuans dress is absolutely awful. The colours on the top half look drab and mature. The bottom half is in desperate need of ironing. Shocking how she can wear it to a big event like this.

  3. This years theme: don’t dress in white or you won’t win an award. Pretty much everyone who won wore black.

  4. I actually really like Jessica dress. I love the different color and texture. Overall, I like Tracy dress the best. Very elegant and the color is beautiful on her.

Mandy dress aged her. Natalie dress is OK but her makeup is awful.

  5. as long as got showing boobs then its hot and pretty…hehehe…btw grace chan looks hot..hehehe

  6. Lol so true . people in black won.
Love Tracy’s and Elaine’s dress. Jessica looked great!
I feel like Natalie’s dress is similar every year. Cant say I liked Nancy’s gown.

  7. Hmm I’m not really a big fan of anyone’s dress this year…except maybe Grace? The red dress on her is stunning, simple but very red-carpet worthy.

Sisley’s dress is also very sapphire blue. The jewel tone on her and that dress’s cut looks good.

I also like Elaine’s dress, but feel something’s missing. Not sure what.

Tracy’s dress is pretty, but dat hair tho.

Natalie’s dress is at least interesting, but dem lips tho.

I normally quite like Annie and her ensembles, but wth is this outfit this time O_O. it’s frumpy and so ruffle-y. too much of a good thing.

Ali & Priscilla are also pretty boring and lackluster.

  8. I thought the “Princess” group looked the best. Very pretty and youthful. Tracy was my fav of the night, very cute. It was a modest dress but still made her look young. Was actually a fan of the hair. It was slicked back to emphasize her facial features and the gown more. Grace Wong is my second fav of the night. Young, sleek, but still sexy in black and an assymetrical cut. Totally fits her character. Rebecca comes in third for me 🙂
