• @lyu310 Wow!!, what a brave woman you are. Thank you for sharing your story with us. You did not say much personally, but what you wrote can only come from a victim. I have never been raped, but I have friends who have been, or have been harassed. I also work with patients who have been. After I do my bit, they are then turned over to psychiatrists, therapists and other professionals to try and begin the real healing. The physical healing oftentimes happens, but the mental, psychological and emotional scars never fully go away. With enough self will, love, and help, victims learn to cope but their lives are never the same. I hope you have a positive loving environment of people to embrace you. Again you are a brave woman. No matter what, it was not your fault, you are not to blame. You are an innocent , beautiful human being first and foremost.
  • @creditor Spewing hate as usual I see. Yes, I'm sure some people attended because they know her THROUGH HER MOTHER. But if they really didn't care about her, they wouldn't go see her period. It's not like her mother passed recently or they're getting any money by attending. If they really didn't care for her would they keep attending every event of hers because of her mother? Please. And Joyce can actually sing. I don't care for her acting at all, but the first time I heard her singing voice...I don't know, maybe 10 years ago, I was impressed. I think she has raw talent which can be improved with the proper training, so I will give her that credit. It is already very difficult trying to make it in Asia with all the superficial "requirements" (pretty, pale, big eyes/double eyelids, small nose, skinny body, big boobs, no blemish, cute voice, long hair, demureness/good girl image). She definitely has way more pressure because she's a big girl and her mom was so famous. Look, I'm not trying to say fat is healthy. I live in the U.S. and obesity is a friggin epidemic here. I do believe, however, everyone is meant to be a certain size. Sure, you can lose as much weight and be at your skinniest but if that's very difficult to maintain/you aren't happy, you're not meant to be that size. She was able to get down to a small size before, but maybe she wasn't happy or she couldn't maintain that weight one way or another. What matters is that she stays healthy (we cannot tell whether she is or not. Only her doctor would truly know. There are fat people who work out and who play sports. They are fit. They can lift and bench more than us). Can you tell me who are these much better singers in the industry right now? (I only know G.E.M. and even she is tired of the Hong Kong music industry). I can't keep up with all these new talentless chicks who are only promoted because of their looks and body. There are quite a few fat but talented people in the industry so are you going to hate on those too because they're fat? Or are you just attacking Joyce because she has famous parents and had the opportunity to become a singer because they paved the way? So what? If you wanted to be a singer and had famous parents I'm sure you would take that opportunity as well. It's call playing smart.
