• @m0m0 well, yes. yaoi usually is made by woman and for woman. it's like, i don't know, shoujo story but with two male leads instead. there are tons of yaoi novel online and there are even more fanfiction writer who write yaoi story of their fav fandom such as Harry Potter, Sherlock.
  • @m0m0 my jaw dropped too. This IS really graphic and some stuff in it...not sure TW dramas even do for opposite gender couples o.O. I dunno what's gonna happen to these actors who are playing these roles...image is going to be hard to bounce back, similar to wang kai from Nirvana in Fire. He got the biggest flak for playing a gay character until he played Prince Jing in NIF
  • @m0m0 Now I understand where you are coming from better. I know what you mean. I think they the movie studios are slowly bringing this kind of series into focus. Maybe they did not consciously have a particular age for the audience, or maybe they did, who knows. The boys are not bad looking, but they are not well established leading men like Ming Dao, Mike He, Joe Cheng or Ethan Ruan or Vic Zhou, so the producers and studios do not have to worry about losing young girl fans. Can you imagine Joe and Mike, or Ming Dao and Vanness Wu being these character?. lol. Then the studio powers that be would not be targeting the young girl audience, cause they know how these girls feel about these men.
  • @bubbletea jaw dropped to the ground b/c its targeted audience is young girls. are they suppose to make young teenage girls fancy about two boys getting together?
  • @m0m0 why did your jaw drop, because of the graphic trailer?. It is very to the point, I must say. I am surprised that Taiwan film industry decided to tackle and make a film about same gender love, but I guess it happens . Taiwan has one of the biggest gay societies in the ebiz market. Many singers, managers film and record producers, actors, models are gay, A lot are bisexual too. A lot are gay but they have spouses or partners of the opposite gender because a beard is a nice safety insurance policy to have. Some of them even have children with their partners and spouses, but thank Goodness for artificial insemination.
  • my jaw just dropped to the floor.
  • they do all have very nice physique. Esp Nancy Wu, she can pull off any assassin role with Hollywood.
  • well, my husband had no idea who she was and was wondering why she was getting promoted. I wonder the same too.
  • @m0m0 I would like to retract my earlier statement that all this negativity is due to rucos dating. Clearly it's due to his inability to handle insensitive paparazzi questioning and answers that may have, probably, most definitely caused insufferable pain to Nancy Wu. Clearly I'm not a die-hard enough fan because I've never cared enough to follow what he does off screen, but as all the NON die-hard fans on this forum have pointed out, he is an obvious pos. They've spent hours going over interviews and many hours more analyzing sound bites I've never even heard of, they are clearly the experts on this pos. @killer02, props for exposing this fraud
  • @m0m0 people love an underdog. when he was underappreciated, underused people loved him cuz they were part of his narrative; ruco chan, the people's actor. now that he's famous and popular, everyone's like "he thinks he's better than us" "tell us who you're dating or else you're a snob" think wayne lai pre-rosy business and post (pre: omg he's the best actor ever, make him a lead actor!!! vs post: omg he's everywhere! why's he on every show?)
  • not too long ago this site was a pro-ruco site. what happened, did i miss something? everyone hates him now, how come?
  • @iciel it's quite difficult to not be better than the 2nd one. the 2nd installment was downright dumb.
  • E@m0m0 where?. Oh where is the bulk??. I certainly don't see it anywhere. I agree with @kirigirl. He should bulk up and then use muscle tone training to define his muscles. Losing all that weight and then showing his anorexic, skeletal body is quite scary. I am going to have nightmares after seeing what I saw. Yes, his waiste now matches Karena's. Eeeeek!!, the thought of that is troubling. Noticed he named his tour 'heart attack ' . If he continues with this unhealthy way of getting in shape, he will end up with a heart attack, for real.
  • he needed to bulk up not get down to bone skinny but the pic above he looks pretty bulky. could be the picture, in another article he just looked skinny.
  • @m0m0 I think she's pretty, and not run of the mill. Kudos to her, for not being a groupie. In Vancouver where I am ... straight bleached teeth are the norm. In fact those dazzling white, perfectly straight teeth that look kind of fake - the smiles politicians have. West Coast (North America) = full of Yoga perfect bodies, and perfect smiles. Nope, they would not condone crooked teeth ... especially dental, it's huge here and the dentists over prescribe since it's covered by insurance. Korea's Bae Yong-jun back then had endearingly slightly crooked teeth which made him look well ... human. Then he fixed them and look so fake insincere when he smiled. It takes someone special to see how beautiful she is - for eg, she reminds me of 2 Singapore models who went international (they were considered 'ugly' - teeth, cheekbones etc). But seen with the right eye by creative make-up artistes ... so unusual, cut above the run of the mill faces. She reminds me of these two: Ethel Fong. (Singapore model from the 80s) Jane March (who acted with Leung Kar-fai in that steamy movie) .
  • @happybi i personally know a few asian girls that's been called very ugly in chinese standards but the westerns think they are super hot. look at that super model, she's chinese. isn't she pretty darn ugly in chinese standards. so is lucy lui
  • @m0m0 you think so? I personally think the people in the west would have the same reaction.
  • so much shaming on how this girl looks. i bet westerners will think she's hot. also but perhaps i could be wrong, just never seen so people shaming a girl for how she looks. asian and western cultures are so different. i bet, if any of the statements above are said about a beauty queen or any celebrity, the board will be washed with hate messages. nothing wrong w/ either, just pointing out the cultural differences. i think it's not bad to be blunt at all esp on the internet forum.
