Kate Tsui Breaks Into Tears After Seeing Dead Rats
Directed by Carrie Ng (吳家麗), horror film Knock Knock! Who’s There? <有客到> is currently under production in Hong Kong. Starring Annie Liu (劉心悠) and Kate Tsui (徐子珊), the film is about how three seemingly unrelated individuals have their fates changed overnight after getting involved with a funeral home. Though the movie is not Kate’s first horror film, it proved to be one of the actress’ scariest filming experiences yet.
A few days ago, the filming crew went to shoot outdoor photography at a store. The scene was about Kate, who portrays an autistic girl working at a Chinese funeral paper shop, butchering dead rats. Before the shoot began, Kate was cheerful and talkative with the director and staff, but after seeing the dead rats, Kate immediately burst into tears and walked away from the filming area for some fresh air. Kate returned 30 minutes later with her assistant, looking much calmer.
Director Carrie Ng consoled her and advised how to overcome her fear. She suggested Kate to use a body double if she really could not handle it, but Kate wanted to try again as she did not want to give the filming crew any more inconvenience. After completing the scene, Kate said, “I was genuinely scared and really couldn’t do it. It was my limit.”
Carrie praised Kate’s professionalism on set. “I’ve noticed Kate for a long time and I really admire her performances in her dramas. This time, I managed to attack the weakest side of her. Kate was already very worried when I told her that she would be butchering rats when we were talking about the script. I tried to calm her down and said she may be butchering fish instead, but in the end, it really turned out to be rats. All actors have their weaknesses, and we should learn how to overcome them.”

If I’m not mistaken, Carrie Ng used to starred in the 90s movies. Mostly as seductive supporting roles right? My mom used to like her. Well…she really aged well.
i think she was in alot of category 3 movies but not sure if she ever showed anything on camera. i think she looks really sexy and attractive still.
Carrie was in a lot of Tvb series back then too.
