Kate Tsui Portrays Pregnant Woman in “Go and Come”

Portraying a pregnant woman in movie Go and Come, Kate Tsui (徐子珊) was seen with a prosthetic belly on the filming set.  In the scene, Kate scattered her late husband’s ashes into the sea and suddenly went into labor.

To prepare for her role, Kate began watching videos related to child birth. When filming the scene, Kate immersed herself into the mindset of a pregnant woman and began breathing heavily before the cameras even started rolling.

Delivering piercing cries, Kate successfully gave birth to the baby and stared at the newborn’s face longingly, thinking of her late husband, who was a physician in the Doctors Without Borders program. The film centers around the theme of the circle of life; although Kate is still mourning the death of her husband, the birth of her daughter marks a new start.

As a result of the bad weather, filming of the scene was delayed multiple times throughout the day. Due to the delay, the cast and crew instead gathered for a meal and mingled. Although there were many delicious platters, Kate refrained from eating and only sipped tea.

In December, many fans noticed and presumed that Kate’s bloated appearance was the result of plastic surgery. Denying the plastic surgery rumors, Kate has diligently been restricting her diet and is working on losing weight. In addition to previous reports highlighting her bloated appearance, Kate is also motivated to lose weight in preparation for filming a slimming advertisement in March.

  1. Kate Tsui is at the same acting level as Linda Chung. In other words, both are the worst actresses in TVB. And yet, there are people waiting for her next drama? What’s happening to good taste?

  2. Kate is on the same boat as Raymond: one of those actors who work hard and can act, but has many haters cause the media portrays them as popular only for their looks. Both Raymond and Kate has been praised a few times by more experienced actors, but no one seems to care.

  3. This is a different movie than the one where she killed a rat, right?
Good for her, filming movie after movie. If she wasn’t good at acting, why would they ask her to film in movies for them.
    Can’t wait to watch this!
