Adason Lo’s New Album: LLV II

Adason Lo (羅力威) released his second individual album, LLV II, on February 1, 2013. Following the release of his first album in 2012, it only took Adason half a year to complete his second album. LLV II is his first album featuring both Cantonese and Mandarin songs.

The new hit, “Gemini Love Song” <雙子情歌>, features Adason portraying two people at once, singing in a self-duet. The lyrics of the song accurately reflect the two-sided Geminis, depicting the contradictions in one’s personality. Along with this solo version, Adason also invited popular singer, Joey Yung (容祖儿), to record a duet version. Joey is also a Gemini, and together, the two gave the song a fresh spin.

Another song from the album, “Three People Way” <三人行>, is a remake of George Lam (林子祥) and Tina Liu’s (劉天蘭) classic production. Adason chose this song because it was part of a musical he participated in with his friends back in school. At the time, he had spent only five minutes to construct a piano version of the song, which had become popular and spread across the Internet. This time, Adason hopes to perfect his remake with the addition of other instruments, turning the song into a lovely soothing ballad.

Earlier, Adason had a fun time filming the MV for “Three People Way” with a little boy in Clear Water Bay. The little boy who portrayed Adason as a child in the MV constantly imitated Adason’s movements, which greatly amused the crew members. In the end, the little boy even asked to take a photograph with Adason as a keepsake before going home. With this MV, Adason hopes to share his memories of growing up with his fans.
