Anita Yuen Shows Support for Chilam Cheung by Purchasing 450 Concert Tickets

Chilam Cheung (張智霖), who made a whirlwind return to the music industry earlier this year with the release of his latest EP DEJA VU, will be holding his three-day Hong Kong Coliseum concert, Chilam Crazy Hours Live, from July 6 to 8, 2014. He announced yesterday that all three days have been sold out and thanked everyone’s support.

“I want to thank everyone who bought tickets and will be coming to support me. Let’s enjoy the show when it comes,” said Chilam.

At the moment, Chilam and his agency are currently not planning to add in any more dates to his concert, due to the fact that Chilam’s schedule is currently unfit to add in more shows. However, Chilam clarified that his agency holds the final decision.

Chilam has been preparing for the concert by working out in the gym, but he said that due to his hectic work schedule, he has fallen ill. He is currently resting, and joked that he has also been avoiding phone calls so he doesn’t have to face debt calls.

“I really don’t have any tickets left. It’s really hard to save them. Actually, my wife [Anita Yuen 袁詠儀] is a big customer. I heard she purchased 150 tickets for every show, but I’m not supposed to know this,” he quickly added.

“If everyone wants tickets just ask her! Don’t ask me, please!”

Chilam’s Natural Born Lovers <天生愛情狂> costar, Annie Liu (劉心悠), recently opened up her own production studio. Chilam said he has the read the reports and praised her independence. “I really need to learn from her. I have thought about opening up one myself, but definitely not at this moment because I’ve been too busy. I’m also not a good businessman. I am too soft-hearted. I may end up giving all the money to my employees. If my wife steps in to take control then everything will work out,” he said with a laugh.

It was really announced that Francis Ng (吳鎮宇) was added to the cast for the second season of Hunan reality television series Dad, Where Are We Going ? <爸爸去哪儿>, and he would be appearing on the show with his son, Feyman. Chilam said, “I’ve seen Feyman many times and I am looking forward to see their father-son interaction on television. Francis is an independent thinker. I’m anticipating it.”

Chilam has previously turned down an offer to be featured in Dad, Where Are We Going 2? Francis was reportedly Chilam’s replacement. Chilam quickly clarified, “Of course not. The station is always finding different people to appear on the show. It’s not about replacing anyone. I’m busy with my concert and my films, so it’s impossible for me to join. I don’t regret it. If there’s another opportunity, I’ll take it.”
