The 29 official candidates of the 2012 Miss Hong Kong Pageant have been announced! Currently undergoing image makeovers, the women will be meeting with the press shortly. To add excitement to this year’s pageant, the candidates will be repeatedly tested and eliminated upon poor performance, similiar to reality TV programs. At the press conference, approximately 9 candidates who perform poorly in front of the media will be eliminated from the pageant.

They will improve her fashion sense during training.
She reminds me of Skye Chan. She looks like an auntie during the pageant. But, now, with a different hairstyle and make up, she looks so much better.
All the contestants will look prettier after joining TVB as artistes. Don’t know why?! Probably they have learned how to do better make up, set their hair styles, or even go for plastic surgery.

Roxanne Tong- so much plastic surgery! Her nose changed twice.
True, but she may become successful since her father and uncle are both established actors already. Therefore, even if she entered and did not win, she can still enter the circle very easily… Winning or losing is not going to be a big deal for her.

Roxanne Tong’s father is an actor in the industry, and he doesn’t want his daughter to be a media figure, but she decided to try out anyway.
Not only her father but also her uncle. BTW it’s her choice and her family seems not to disagree with her.

Why is nicki Wong not selected?
I wonder the same thing why didn’t Nicki Wong pass the selection as I find her more beautiful than many of the others.
Perhaps she doesn’t possess any charisma and/or her IQ/EQ is below the average standard in the sample?
Doesn’t make sense though as TVB don’t care about inner beauty which leads to the conclusion that she doesn’t have a strong backing if any and/or the right connection e.g. Roxanne.
The most significant factor might be that she refused to have these infamous dinners with rich business men, LOL.

I place a lifetime radar on this gal: 12號 Jennifer Shum.
Whether she is pretty/sexy and can win MHK or not, it’s not my concern. In fact, her face just impresses me.
Guys, take note! This is a prosperous husband type of wife! She has a unique kind of prominent and fleshy face feature which can bring abundance of lady luck to her spouse….something which is similar to Cissy Wang and is hardly to be found in gals nowadays.

HTS, you are absolutely right! Face reading is not 100% accurate and particularly so if a person’s facial structure has undergone many times of surgery knives.
