Seventy-three year-old Patrick Tse Yin divorced twice from Yan Chun and Deborah Dik (mother of Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Jennifer Tse Ting Ting). In 2005, Patrick started dating Coco , a Shanghainese woman forty-seven younger than him. Earlier, Patrick said that Coco had “dumped him,” but clarified later that he was only joking.
In fact, Patrick was still very much in love with CoCo . The couple’s relationship was very stable. He paid for all of Coco ’s living expenses, as well as her school tuition bill. Coco started taking English classes in Great Britain to improve her skills.
Earlier, reporters spotted Patrick driving a Mercedes jeep in Happy Valley . Patrick was wearing a cap, while Coco sat in the passenger seat. Despite the traffic congestion, Patrick appeared animated in conversation. Coco had a listless expression and repeatedly wiped the sweat on her forehead.
Temporary Split
Since Patrick and Coco started dating in 2005, the public often perceived their relationship negatively due to their forty-seven year gap. Considered Moving to Great Britain
Noticing that Coco did not have any valuable skills, Patrick encouraged her to study English in Great Britain , while broadening her life experience. For many months, Patrick often appeared at events by himself. With Coco’s return to Hong Kong during the summer break, he stayed close by her side.
In a telephone interview, Patrick said his relationship with Coco did not change. “Since Coco is back, I am spending some time with her. She has not completed her one-year studies in Great Britain yet.” Denying that he was paying for Coco’s tuition bill, Patrick said, “She has a lot of money, but will consider allowing her boyfriend to accompany her in Great Britain .”

I think the dating is for the money. Although he denied that he is paying the tuition bill for her, I think he is definitely taking care of her from an expense standpoint. The age gap is huge, and although Patrick always had a young heart and playful, flirtatious personality, that really is too big of an age gap-20 years gap is already pushing it. They may not care about what people say, which is great if they are deeply in love with each other, but I think most people view him as a sugardaddy dating a girl that age and saying that it is true love.
Certainly not for the money because Patrick Tse is broke. That’s why Nic Tse need to come out to work so early in his life.

Jayne, the answer is no. his is clear cut case of materialistic sort of relationship. She may have wanted the son but ended up with the father. And I wonder how Patrick Tse can pay all that when famously the son who is the one who worked and paid off his debts?

Kidd and Funn, I remember that Patrick was broke when Nic first entered the industry. But if Nic is making $50 to 100 million (HKD), I’m sure he will give some money to his parents to make sure they live comfortably.
Patrick was spotted driving a Mercedes and I don’t think he is leasing it. Nic doesn’t speak very highly of Patrick, but I don’t think he is ungrateful kind of son that will not support parents in old age. It’s the same with Deborah Dik, she is often photographed shopping at malls with designer handbags. Deborah seems to be favored by Nic and Jennifer. Cecilia also sounds very generous with her money and probably showers Deborah with a lot of gifts.
I agree that with such a large age gap, it’s hard to have true love. Maybe friendship…

HeTieShou, it was through snippets of Nic’s comments to reporters that gave me the impression he did not get along with Patrick that well. When Cecilia was about to give birth to Quintus in May, Patrick had sort of leaked the due date to the press. When the press asked Nic whether what Patrick said was true, Nic said, “How would he know?” The statement spoke volumes about their relationship, that Patrick probably was not told about the due date and that he didn’t talk to the family that much.
When Quintus’ photos were released immediately after birth, the press asked if Patrick took any photos with the baby. He responded, “Nobody asked me.”
So, if they started dating back in 2005, that would make her 21 when they first started. Hum… not sure if I see it as love, but quite disturbing. He may look young, but come-on the body does deteriorate, so must be lots of viagra in stock at home. LOL Forgive me for being jugemental but I agree with Moontialia, with Patrick show-off personality, he is definitely her sugar daddy whether it’s his money or his son’s money that he is using. If he is using his son’s money, then shame on him for wasting his son’s hard earned money on his “young girlfriend”.

Thanks for the info! I think that is sad then if Nic and his dad don’t have a good relationship. However, I still don’t think that it is bad to the point that he would not support his dad financially because no matter what, it is his dad. I don’t think is the worse father there is since I have seen worse.
