A Fan Tattooed Charmaine Sheh’s Face On His Chest

On August 8, Hong Kong crime thriller Line Walker: The Movie <> held its red carpet premiere in Hong Kong. The movie, a continuation of TVB’s 2014 television drama Line Walker, is directed by Jazz Boon (文偉鴻) and stars Nick Cheung (張家輝), Louis Koo (古天樂), Francis Ng (吳鎮宇), and Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼).

Korean actress Clara Lee, who makes a guest appearance in the film as an assassin, took the night’s spotlight with her sexy black gown. Clara explained that she was trying for more sexy look to complement her role in the film.

Clara, who has been promoting the film in Mainland China, was asked for her thoughts in regards to the rumored Hallyu ban in China. The Korean star said, “This is a very sensitive topic so I will not respond. I just started my cosmetics and skincare program in Korea so I haven’t been in China a lot.”

While Clara is busy with her television show in Korea, “Ding Jeh” Charmaine Sheh has been doing fan tours around the country to promote Line Walker. The actress recalled one striking memory, “I came across a male fan who tattooed my face on his chest. In the end, security had to escort him out,” added Charmaine with a laugh. “I actually think it’s just a sticker tattoo.” (Why do you think the fan had your face on his chest?) “I don’t know! He probably just really loves Ding Jeh.”

Has Charmaine ever come across such extreme fans in the past? “They’re all very passionate. He didn’t hurt me.” Asking if Charmaine would be willing to return to TVB to shoot a television drama sequel for Line Walker, Charmaine said she’ll be very interested to do it if the other cast and crew return as well.

Line Walker: The Movie opens August 11.
