Aaron Kwok Drives Crowd Wild in Malaysian Concert

Aaron Kwok (郭富城) recently held two phenomenally successful concerts at Genting Highlands, a renowned resort destination in Malaysia. As this was Aaron’s first trip back to Malaysia in eight years, tickets for his concert were in high demand and both nights had a full-house attendance. The 49-year-old’s popularity does not appear to have dropped in the slightest, with fans from all over Asia flying into Malaysia just for the concert.

Aaron’s opening show was met with screams of “I love you!” from the crowd. The atmosphere at the concerts remained exuberant throughout, as Aaron wowed the crowd with grand entrances like riding onstage on a motorcycle. When Aaron took his shirt off and performed his signature dance moves, the crowd naturally went wild too.

The air density at Genting was low and made breathing more difficult than usual but this did not deter Aaron, who danced with great fervor. “Having to sing and dance at the same time under these conditions is not a joke!” Aaron said, “It’s really physically taxing. Thankfully, I’ve always worked out regularly so my body can still take it!”

Aaron was also moved by the support of his fans. When performing a love ballad, the emotional response from the crowd prompted Aaron to shout, “Your applause is really every artiste’s greatest motivation. I will work even harder after hearing your applause, so that I can create better music to show appreciation for all your support!”
