The costume fitting for TVB series, Female Fist <女拳>was held. In attendance was the cast: Liu Xuan, Bosco Wong Chung Chak, Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming, Fala Chen, and John Chiang Dai Wai.
After filming martial arts sequences for one day, Liu Xuan’s body was full of bruises. Responding to reporters’ questions in Cantonese, Liu Xuan said,”I have not undertaken such vigorous training in a long time. The physical requirements for filming and gymnastics are different. Fortunately, I did not have any injuries and did not hurt other people during filming.”
Suffering from a throat infection earlier, Liu Xuan is still taking antibiotics. Despite the filming schedule, she has five to six hours of sleep each night, which Liu Xuan finds to be adequate. Due to the demanding schedule, was Liu Xuan concerned about being unable to bear it? Liu Xuan replied in Mandarin, “In China , there is a famous idiom that if you die, you need to die on stage.”
A well known dog lover, Bosco expressed his sadness regarding a recent canine maltreatment incident. At a recent Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) wild dog catching event in Tin Shui Wai, a dog was leased too tightly, causing it to vomit blood. “I was very sad when I saw the video clip. The dogs did not protest, why did they have to secure the leash so tightly? Netizens organized a protest against the AFCD’s inhumane treatment of the dogs. If I did not have to work, I would join the protest as well!”

Jayne: Filming ancient series in the middle of the summer is so hot and with the frequent martial arts sequences (which would be outdoors), that would be quite unbearable.

Yes I hope Bosco won’t have work to do and will join the protest. It pained me too when I saw the clip. What an unprofessional worker.
I think this is easy job for the former gymnast whose training as a gymnast must have been worse than the filming condition which is why she can cope. And if Bosco is saddened by the tight leash, imagine his horror if he ever comes to Malaysia. One poor dog I remember got a stick stuck down his throat? For hours? And nobody cared? KTM workers (workers at the train station) passed by and ignored the poor dog.

Or the incident where the dog catchers ran into a school and before horrified students shot a dog repeatedly.
And so far despite protests no one was taken into account or liable or whatever.
I remember seeing one horrifying video of a wet market in Japan slicing the “throat” of a 6 foot dolphin and letting it bleed to death as it arched its back in obvious extreme pain and students walked pass as if it was just a sardine being slaughtered.
I know off topic but yet, I am angry too just like Bosco.
Funn, I remember seeing that poor dolphin video too but recently I got an even bloodier massacre. Apparently in this one country(I forgot which country) they made dolphin killing as a Festival for “fun” to show “manliness” that made the sea water in the area becomes “red” literally – and they kill the dolphins slowly. I can’t believe such things existed. It is not “man” at all

I am glad that Bosco is a dog lover(so am I) and am saddened by that dog incident. Gosh, how can people be so cruel? I wish that Bosco had time to join the protests too. I hope that he can in the future since he can use his star power for a good cause.

Are you serious about the dolphins and dogs getting killed and mistreated like that?? It just brings tears to my eyes to hear about that. I just cannot believe that some people are so cruel and evil. I heard that dogs remember what you do to them and will get revenge on you. I believe in karma and all of those bad people will get what they deserve.
