Since her high-profile divorce with Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒), Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝) has been plagued by rumors surrounding her personal life. Just last week, Cecilia was reported to have brought her sons along on a date with her new boyfriend in Singapore. This week, it was rumored that Cecilia is now pregnant!
The gossip stemmed from a Weibo post by an anonymous netizen, who claimed that Cecilia had visited a hospital after experiencing nausea and dizzy spells, and was unexpectedly informed that she was pregnant. According to the post, Cecilia was currently preparing for labor in France, and the rumored beau who was pictured dining with her last week would be taking time off work to accompany her in the French hospital.
Although Cecilia is the subject of frequent negative gossip, the pregnancy rumor may have been last straw for Cecilia. Her management company, AEG was quick to respond and released a statement, “The allegations are completely false and unwarranted. They have also had a negative impact on both Cecilia’s professional reputation and personal life. We reserve the right to pursue legal action in respect of the claims. We also request that the post be deleted and all who have seen the post to stop spreading it.”
