Celebrity Twins: Rene Liu and Cecilia Yip
Taiwanese actress and singer Rene Liu (Run Papa Run, Hot Summer Days) bears a resemblance to Hong kong based actress Cecilia Yip (May and August, Happy Family). Both actresses being in their forties, they still remain charming and elegant. Both of them have a set of rather big eyes and a distinct double eyelid. Apart from their eyes, they also have similar big lips, not too thick and not too thin either. Their face structure is also quite similar especially the jawline area and near the area of the eyes.
Wow! They do bear similar resemblance even though they are 2 different people. They kept it really good even though they are in their 40s. Still looking sharp! 😀
ah so thats her name Rene Liu!! i saw her on tv one day and thought that was yip tong but thought she looked different. Now i know.

Yes they do look similar but hopefully one acting is better than the other whose school of acting is drama queen acting.
Oh yea, I remember Rene Liu!! She is the Taiwanese singer. I once bought an album with her and Tarcy Su. HEr singing is pretty nice. I have not seen her act yet though.
Tarcy has a nice voice, Rene is alright, Cecelia Yip’s does my head in, sound like she is naging!!
I must agree that these two definitely bear a striking resemblance. Cecilia could very well be Rene’s older and more elegant [sometimes cold looking though] sister while Rene is a bit sweeter and gentler looking.
I don’t think either of them have big eyes with distinctive eyelids though O_O Must be different size standards…
They may look similar, but I think Rene’s got a more attractive face (but not due to the fact that Cecilia is 7 yrs older). Rene’s got a girl-next-door look but one that can also be beautiful at the same time. Her fair skin looks great!
They both look great and do bear a resemblance. I think it’s the face shape as well as similar features. They don’t have really big eyes like some stars that try to achieve that doll-like eyes. But rather, both of their eyes are very attractive, especially when they smile. Their eyes look like they’re smiling too!
Rene Liu mostly act in movies. Two of the movies I can think of off the top of my head is ‘Happy Birthday’ with Louis Koo and ‘Hot Summer Days’ with Jacky Cheung.
Rene Liu is overrated as an actress. But her singing is even worse. She might as well focus on improving her acting skills and drop that record deal!
