Charmaine Sheh Si Man and rumored co-star, Moses Chan Ho promoted new TVB series, Can’t Buy Me Love <公主嫁到>. The pair hugged each other and did not hold back during the games segment. Although playing the role of a princess in Can’t Buy Me Love, Charmaine said that she did not possess a princess attitude in real life. She admitted that she had good chemistry with Moses in their collaboration.
The estimated ratings for last week’s broadcast of Can’t Buy Me Love was thirty-three points in ratings. Since the series premiere coincided with the Hong Kong tour bus deaths in the Philippines , Charmaine hoped that the series will bring comfort to the families of the victims. Overall, Can’t Buy Me Love’s plot was positive and lend victims the courage to face the future.
Moses complimented Charmaine for her good acting skills in their first comedy partnership. Although Moses had an unruly wife inCan’t Buy Me Love, he never had a girlfriend who possessed a princess attitude. If he were to encounter such an unruly girlfriend, he will reflect carefully upon the situation.
Fala Chen’s friends and fans have thoroughly enjoyed watching Can’t Buy Me Love thus far. As a skilled martial artist in the series, Fala said, “Although final editing may reduce the fighting scenes to a dozen seconds, they are exerting to film! Jayne: I love the costumes and hair accessories in Can’t Buy Me Love! All the actresses look so beautiful. Charmaine’s headpieces are especially elegant. This series might challenge the ratings records held by A Fistful of Stances and The Mysteries of Love earlier.

No doubt about it. This series will have good ratings because it is the type that HK audience enjoys. The audience doesn’t like those with too much drama and centers around the wealthy families, even though it has a stellar cast, like what happened with Gem of Life, Born Rich and now Growing through Life. I hope people will not complain about the series being broadcast on the day of the bus tragedy in Manila anymore. Yes, it was a very sad and tragic incident and I’m sure the citizens of Hong Kong and people around the world felt the pain of the victims. But TVB already long announced that the premiere of the series would start that day, so it’s not like they purposely put that series in during a sensitive time. Already, TVB broadcsst most of the incident live and it was already sad enough, so I think that it was meant to hopefully send out a positive message and bring some happiness to the audience on such a dark day. I don’t think they intended to offend or disrespect anyone.
On another note, yes all the costumes are very nice and all the women look beautiful but I wonder if any of them were reused from BTROC? They look so similar! Love Charmaine’s look!

No wonder the costumes from this series look so much like the ones from Beyond the Realm of Conscience. I guess those costumes cost a lot of money so of course they should reuse them as much as they can. But I must say that the costumes are still not as nice as the costumes from the 80s. Those were just gorgeous, but too bad they are all burned down already.

The high ratings isn’t because of Moses. His acting is seriously bad and he’s not funny at all. He’s annoying. Kenneth is heaps better than Moses.

I love watching Moses Chan but I want to know what happen to him lately. The last movie “Fly with Me” by him and another lady (forget her name all of sudden) first name (Fun) is so horrible. His acting is so worst…At least this series have Kenneth in it….

I likes Ah Sheh And Moses in this series. The only boring part for me is Linda and Raymond’s scene. Now that 3rd princess and her fu ma started to like each other, the atmosphere has become so lovingly that I can smile when I see them. Fala was extremely cute standing between them.
The series got high ratings coz of moses! he is one of the best actor i’ve ever seen..I don’t get it why is some people hate him so much with the charisma and credibility he have(just look at the split second drama, eventhough he was just a guest actor, but he outshines through the cast)
Seriously there’s still a lot of room for improvement in terms of Moses’ acting. I personlly find this drama quite hilarious so it’s quite light hearted which a lot of ppl will enjoy. I hate Linda & Raymond part which I’ll fast forward, it’s too dull.
