Charmaine Sheh Injures Her Hand While Filming “Casino Heroes”

Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) had to make an emergency return to Hong Kong when she injured her hand while shooting the new Wong Jing (王晶) television drama, Casino Heroes <賭城群英會>. The 35-episode drama, co-produced by TVB, also stars Patrick Tse (謝賢), Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Nat Chan (陳百祥), Monica Chan (陳法蓉), and Raymond Wong (黃浩然).

The 40-year-old actress said she accidentally injured her left hand while filming an action scene for the show. Her fingers immediately swelled. She had no choice but to return to Hong Kong from Shenzhen to get her hand examined by her doctor.

Charmaine seems to be quite accident-prone. She has suffered broken arms, a waist sprain, and a herniated disc during filming before. She also admitted that she avoids doing period dramas, in fear that the costume head pieces would aggravate her old neck injury.

In a brief interview with the press, Charmaine reassured that she is fine. “I’m okay! I was shooting a fight scene and injured my hand. I just came back to Hong Kong to see the doctor. I’m fine. Thanks for the concerns.”
