Don’t these 3 look similar? As in gentle scholar sort of look, good looking. Except Benny talks too much. Anyway pure speculation but I think she likes guys who are good looking, not that rugged but rather looks gentlemanly as in scholarly. Moses is gentlemanly but he doesn’t fit the look.

I personally don’t think she looks that great herself nor is she that talented, therefore, what gives her the right to be so picky and choosy?? I am sorry but I have a big problem with people who don’t look great themselves but yet want an attractive person. If it were in the guy’s case, I can accept if he were successful or rich(since girls go for “cai” while guys go for “se” beauty) but wasn’t good looking and wants a good looking girl. But in the girl’s case, IF you don’t look good yourself would a really good looking guy even give you a second look?? In some cases, it is true that a bad looking girl does end up with a good looking guy. But I don’t think that a girl should require that, especially if they don’t look so great themselves. I am now watching Charmaine in Bi Xue Jian 2000 and cannot stand her… Gosh, she makes me cringe…

Anyway I have seen ugly women with handsome guys, ugly men (the usual) with pretty girls. It is really about preference, plus points. The optimist me thinks perhaps personality has a role to play but basically, whether you dispute or not, men in general likes pretty girls and girls in general likes successful men. No harm in that of course.
But what you meant is actually first impressions and of course first impression counts.
As for Charmaine, there’s a different of what makes you cringe when it comes to her when you watch Crimson Sabre. Her looks or her acting? Wide difference. Look wise, she was rather pretty back then. Acting wise, in Crimson Sabre if I remember correctly she was far from the worse. Oh the worst and absolute worst that I have seen thus far was the aneroxic drug addict looking actress playing Gordon Lam’s love interest. I think with the amount of bashing she received after her horrendous acting, she must have retired because I have not seen her since.

You need to learn how to respect what others think. I can say that I a friend that is not good looking at all what this and that from others. Her success is not base solely on looks alone, but also her dediction to acting. You know how many hours Charmaine sheh works to film tvb series n other series, movies, interviews, ad and promotion. No time to sleep eat n rest properly, so ppl should say she’s not pretty. Just try working 24/7 like her n I think u will not even look like decent looking.
