Christine Kuo Breaks Down in Tears; Denies Seducing Michael Tse

Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) attended a celebratory dinner for TVB hit drama Tiger Cubs <飛虎> yesterday. Christine burst into tears when she was asked recent tabloid reports claiming that she had seduced Michael Tse (謝天華) in a car. Defending her reputation, Christine said that the published photos were from filming a scene for new TVB drama, Justice Attack <法網狙擊>. Christine’s parents in Canada were upset over scandalous report, in which Christine felt unjust and extremely upset.

As Christine is plaqued by scandals one after another, she is being labelled as TVB’s “flirtatious vamp”. Having a curvaceous figure and an outgoing personality, Christine was rumored to have worked her charm on her costars, namely Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Raymond Cho (曹永廉) and Oscar Leung (梁烈唯). Branded as a “goddess” by many men, Christine is also very popular among the wealthy-second-generation bachelors as well. Earlier, she was spotted with Elva Ni (倪晨曦) attending a yacht party hosted by EEG Chairman, Albert Yeung’s (楊受成) son, Alex Yeung (楊政龍).

A Daring Seduction?

East Week claimed that Christine performed a seducing act on Michael Tse while filming, and Michael was allegedly too overwhelmed by her daring actions. Christine and Michael were filming for a scene in Justice Attack in which Christine tried to drag the drunken Michael into the car. Having a western mindset and a bold personality, Christine got into the flirtatious act quickly.

Christine allegedly removed her scarf and revealed her cleavage to Michael. She then reportedly gave him a sultry glance, and unbuttoned his shirt gradually. Shocked by Christine’s daring act, Michael moved into the back seat of the car to escape from her. Christine allegedly continued to advance and rip off Michael’s jacket and continued mesmerizing him.

Christine and Michael reportedly had many “NGs” during the filming. Christine allegedly was constantly reminded by Michael that she had exposed herself accidentally while filming. After filming for the hot scene for over an hour in a car, Laughing Gor’s legs allegedly turned wobbly after he got off the car!

Christine Pretended to Break Up With Joey Law?

For the sake of her career, Christine reportedly pretended to break up with former Mr. Hong Kong participant, Joey Law (罗天宇) and turned their relationship underground. Promoted heavily as the next fadan, TVB allegedly was unhappy with Christine when she openly admitted to dating Joey. She allegedly faked her breakup with Joey in February this year, stating that she wanted to focus on her career.

East Week claimed that even after breaking up with Joey, Christine continued to address Joey’s mother as godmother and even stayed overnight at Joey’s place. Christine allegedly would also deploy Joey’s maid to clean up her house.

Joey denied patching up with Christine, and said “Mommy really takes care of her, and treats her like her own daughter. I am not staying with my mum now, but they will often arrange for a meal together. I have no intention of reconciling with her, but we won’t know what will happen in the future. I will focus on my career first.”

When asked about Christine being branded as TVB’s flirtatious vamp, Joey jumped to her defense, “She is not that kind of person!”

Christine Kuo: “I Felt Terrible”

Speaking about her scandalous news with Michael Tse, Christine was emotional, “I have my baseline. Please do not hurt my family. I felt innocent! Because of my job, my family is so unhappy, and I felt terrible about it. The matter will not go away even if I leave or quit my job. I need to face the scandals bravely. I will ask my parents to stay here so that they can understand the nature of my job better.”

  1. Even that i don’t like her acting, then I feel sorry for her. One rumour after another , Maybe she was just caught into the caracter, that’s why she was like that in the car. Who knows.

  2. She really shouldn’t have to break down in tears. There are going to be many of these reports in the future. One thing she has to understand: She is newbie, her acting sucks, and she is getting promoted A LOT. That is the perfect target for the media. Who knows, maybe Ms Lok planned this so you can have more exposure Christine? Now, don’t cry, you might over do it and throw away all of Ms Lok’s efforts. Congrats for rising to fadan status
    though!

      1. i agree, you have to learn how to hold up better than this in the entertainment industry. criticism and rumors are pretty much a fixture in every actor/actresses’ careers.

      2. I agree and you need to be emotionally strong to be in the industry. But then again Raymond broke down and cried when his photo broke out too and he is fine.

      3. She’s an artist, she needs publicity hence crying is so necessary hehe

      4. Agreed. If she wants to survive in HK’s harsh entertainment industry, she should be stronger

      5. She’s a newbie and will have to learn to control her emotions. This comes with time and experience in the entertainment circle. The papparazzi in HK are constantly snooping out breakout stories to sell their magazines and a lot of the times they will do it at all costs without considering the artist’s feelings. This is the price one has to pay as a celebrity. She just needs to deal with it and move on.

      6. That’s why let’s watch how she will grow to handle all these gossips in the future 😛

    1. It was unfair reporting since the alledge seduction was actually filming for a series. She has every right to be emotional and cry all she wants. Also make for good publicity for her.

      1. well of course she does, but every actress has their share of unfair reporting. if every actress cried in public when they had negative news then wouldn’t that be crazy!? actresses are expected to hold a better fort when it comes to emotions, you won’t mentally last long in the entertainment industry if an “alleged” news story breaks you down.

      2. I agree with Stranger that you need to be strong when dealing with these things since they happen all the time. If you break down and cry each time, then how can you last in the complicated and dark e circle?

      3. you guys, like you all know, she’s a newbie. Let her be emotional and cry the first few times. being in the industry is tough enough.

even experienced actors like raymond, benny, myolie cry. sometimes, you just can’t hold back your tears and they fall.

        let her be. geez.

      4. i was thinking maybe she cried just so she could get another news story but i’m not so sure after seeing her acting.

      5. and regarding vets like raymond, myolie, benny etc. their situation was completely different. raymond’s photo, myolie’s breakup and benny’s scandal are all bigger and potential career changing, christine crying about a relationship rumor is pretty much nothing compared to the vets.

of course though, she’s new. guess she has a lot to adjust to.

      6. Indeed, and Raymond’s, Myolie’s, Benny’s news, were actually REAL. The photos did exist for Ray, Myolie did break up with Bosco, Benny did grope Rose. They do have something to regret or feel sad for.
Can you imagine someone like Charmaine crying everytime the media accuses her of seducing or flirting with someone? She will be crying a river.

      7. ” christine crying about a relationship rumor is pretty much nothing compared to the vets.”

Isn’t Michael a married man? Such a negative news is bad for her as she is also a newbie. Don’t dismiss such rumours just because she is someone you don’t like. If she is rumoured with a single man, no big deal But married man, even Charmaine had to release a press statement if I remember correctly. And by then she is already a veteran, and she knows how to handle the bad press. Christine is still new.

      8. Charmaine is a veteran now. but even in the past she had many rumors in the past. Like with Chilam. She was still new then.

      9. Agree with Nicole. These seniors have things to cry for. Raumond and his bed pictures, Myolie and her breakup, and Benny and his wrongdoings. But Christine cried for a rumour that was based on a filming scene. She should just laugh it off.

      10. funn lim: christine is not the first, and definitely will not be the last person from the entertainment industry to be rumoured with a married man. rumours are rumours, and they will eventually pass.

tvb really needs to provide proper media training for their newer artistes. christine lacks training in all areas right now (language, acting and now handling the media), she was rushed in too fast by tvb.

and i agree with you lol, she should’ve just laughed it off especially if she knew it was from a scene (which can also be easily proved.)

      11. Are y’all serious?

I think she’s a horrendous actress and it would be better for everyone if she retired. But please don’t tell me the girl is being melodramatic for breaking down over how the media is painting her out to be a sl*t and homewrecker. In comparison, LF’s bed photos were laughable (he’s a man and they were just sleep photos honestly!). So why shouldn’t she be allowed a breakdown? And even if she wasn’t upset, she should still definitely cry to garner sympathy. Before the public really believes all the stories.

      12. Raymond lam’s popularity and career was (and still is) way above christine’s career at that point. he was supposed to be packaged as a diamond “good guy” bachelor and who was also caught in his “i’m single and eligible!” lie. raymond, whose fan base consists of girls, could’ve easily lost a good amount of his fan base because of the incident (don’t think it ended up affecting him too much in the end but his image was never squeaky clean again at the point on). his ex also came out and revealed intimate details of their relationship.

yeah, she’s allowed a breakdown but how often do we see “so and so seduced so and so” and “so and so cheated on so and so with so and so stories” news stories? pretty often. are they true? sometimes.

this is nothing compared to what she may be written about in the future. i think what we’re all trying to say is that this isn’t even the worst thing that can even be said about her right now and that she should be mentally tougher (that is if she is legitimately crying because of the news and not for more publicity)

      13. Christine need to learn to be strong. If she becomes a fadan in the future, she might need to face harsher gossips than this. Look at all the numerous gossips that LF, Charmaine, KC, Bosco went through and all are way harsher than this.

    2. Who said that you had to be talented to get promoted in TVB??

      1. true….true…. hehehehe….. seems anyone can act in tvb, and as long as your pretty sexy and gd in sweet talk… anything goes for tvb…….

      2. It’s the same everywhere, not only in TVB.
It’s about popularity and mass appeal.

Christine appeal is that she is refereshing, as she is not projecting the typical agressive, materialistic and fastidious ‘kong mui’ image (as potrayed by Myolie, Tavia) or the seemingly sweet and innocent image ( Linda Chung). She has an inate sex appeal .. better than Kate. OK, I know many of you ladies will disagree though.

      3. Sex appeal is the only advantage that Christine has unfortunately. Her acting and language skills are horrible

      4. When seeing the words “sweet and innocent image”, Gillian’s image popped up in my mind.

      5. Well Gillian’s bubble popped when her scandal broke out. Not so sweet now…..

  3. Pfffff she seems like a seducer to me i mean why would she hang out wealthy bachelors for in the 1st place

    1. So People that are ***** are the only one allowed to hang around wealthy people? Can’t people just hang with rich people? Must they ony hang around with someone of their own status?

    2. What? Wealthy people can’t have female celebrity friends?

I don’t know whether she’s a seducer or not, but I absolutely dislike the automatic conclusion that just because a celebrity hangs out with the wealthy, they’re automatically believed to be after money. That’s so one-sided.

  4. for someone who has a “Western Mindset”, she sure can’t speak English that well.

    1. is she really bad in languages or something? I never heard her english before, and I don’t know cantonese, but peope say that she speaks bad cantonese, and now english too?

      1. I personally think her English is fine.. her Cantonese is horrible though not gonna lie.

      2. let’s just say that she should stick to speaking Mandarin with King Kong (that bald guy from Taiwan).

      3. I heard her saying the word “comment” in her interview at “TVB The Green Room 2012”.
She pronounced it like a typical Hongkonger …………as “come + ment”

      4. Christine Kuo’s English should be better than a typical Hongkonger’s, but she is not as good as a person who is raised in Canada.

      5. Isn’t she from HK?? How come she can speak Mandarin and Taiwanese?? If her parents live in Canada then I am assuming she did as well so how come her English is bad??

      6. Well from the internet then it says that she is born in Taiwan.

      7. Oh ok, thanks for the info Linnh! If she is from Taiwan then I wonder why she ended up working for TVB and did not act in Taiwanese series instead??

    2. aha, so the conclusion will be that she is best in Taiwanese and mandarin, then english and worst in cantonese, got it!

  5. I have seen her in Tiger Cubs and I am watching her in Ghetto Justice 2 now, to be honest, I don’t know what the fuss is about her.

Sure she is not bad looking, but really the next fadan? She needs to brush up on her cantonese and acting first, maybe give it another 6-10 years+

It took Charmaine Sheh and Myolie Wu ages to reach the level they are now.

Gosh I missed people who can act, TVB shouldn’t introduce so many newbies with no acting abilities at once…

So fed up with their lack of storyline now, that I rather watch subtitled mainland series or even subtiled Japanese animes….

    1. TVB can no longer afford to wait that long for her newbies to become fadans. They have to move them up a lot faster now.

      1. But it is so wrong to move them up this fast, if they still lack :/ At least TVB should be concentrating on some of them first. Ohh well it is TVB.

      2. ITs TVB Fast Track… Linda was promote heavily and she did “nicely”. Some people are lucky. Most are not….

      3. Linda Chung was promoted heavily by TVB because she was a very good artiste who would listen and do everything as requested by TVB. Linda did not seem to have so many rumours and scandals, like Christine Kuo did, in her 7+ years with TVB.

      4. although linda was promoted heavily by tvb right away, tvb liked her especially because she did what tvb told her to do (accept numerous jobs at once) and kept a clean track.

however, i’m not too sure about christine though. tvb might be so desperate that they might be the ones feeding the media all these rumors/stories and the fantastic PR at tvb might’ve told christine to squeeze some tears.

  6. I don’t like her but poor girl rumor after rumor. She does come across as a flirtatious

  7. There are just too many articles about Christine Kuo now, one after another in such a short period of time. Are they really necessary?

  8. I feel bad for her but being in the circle, it is hard to avoid these rumors and scandals. That is one of the prices that they pay for entering the circle.

  9. the girl named grace in ghetto justice 2 seems better…why not promote her instead?

    1. A good question? Perhaps TVB thinks it is more “challenging” to promote Mandarin-speaking artistes vs. Cantonese-speaking artistes. It seems that TVB has been promoting more Miss MCI than Miss Hong Kong.

  10. She strikes me as the type who will tear up easily. Hope that she can toughen up her skin after this incident. It is really quite poor form to slander a young woman in this manner.

I hope her parents are taking it well and not giving her problems also!

  11. Look on the bright side Christine. At least there’s someone who thinks you’re a convincing enough actress to make up that story! 😛

  12. I feel sorry for her because her parents thought the reports are real. They must be unfamiliar with HK media

  13. Come on though, do her parents really know that little about the HK media? Their daughter started working in this industry over two years ago. She doesn’t tell them it is for promotional purposes? I don’t even know if those tears are fake or real at this point…………I am just saying she is not that good of an actress……..so it is hard for her to produce tears. I don’t think she is crying because it affected her parents. I think she is crying because she is too emotional for this industry.

  14. Christine Kuo mentioned in her recent interview that her parents left her and her siblings with CAD10,000 a few years ago and left Canada for Taiwan. They wanted to start all over again in Taiwan after her Dad’s failure in his business. Christine was only about 20 years old and her siblings were quite young. She had to handle everything herself, which included earning living expenses, household chores, and taking care of her siblings. If they were such irresponsible parents, I am surprised that they would worry about Christine now while she is older and making good money in Hong Kong.

  15. she’s a terrible actress, can’t speak cantonese and her english is bad considered that she grew up in canada. christine should just move to taiwan and continue her “career” there.

  16. I think Christine Kuo is making a big fuss just to boost her popularity. I thought she was a simple and sweet girl. She reiterated a few times in her interviews that she was “maintaining” her simple and innocent personality even after joining the entertainment industry for 3 years.

    1. She didn’t look innocent in the party pictures with Albert Yeung’s son

      1. haha yah she absolutely didnt look “innocent” at all..in Albert’s son yatch.. So what made her look “innocent” now eventhough she cried for defamation?

      2. Christine Kuo is a very lucky girl. Most of the times she looks innocent or pretends to be innocent to get promotion and sympathy from her audience.

      3. “She didn’t look innocent in the party pictures with Albert Yeung’s son”

Innocent girl cannot party at friend’s boat?

      4. Do you see innocent girls party like crazy with a wealthy tycoon’s son and flaunt her career line everywhere to get attention and rumours and pretend crying for attention? I don’t think Christine is simple and innocent

      5. Honestly if she was truly simple and innocent then she will not last or become successful in this industry.

      6. “Do you see innocent girls party like crazy with a wealthy tycoon’s son “

Where did you see her ‘party like crazy’? All I see is news of her attending boat party with Albert Yeung’s son who is supposed to be her friend and she was wearing a T-shirt at the time. The news report even pointed out her conservative attire.

        Excepts from
        http://www.jaynestars.com/news/christine-kuo-and-elva-ni-attend-albert-yeungs-sons-yacht-party/

“Elva attended the yacht parties over the last 2 weeks, while bringing along good friends, Christine Kuo, and Korean model, Enjel Choi (蔡恩真). While most of the girls wore skimpy tank tops and shorts, Christine interestingly covered herself from head-to-toe in a t-shirt and long pants.

      7. How did she look in Albert Yeung’s son’s yatch?

        – Wearing conservative attire
        – Making funny faces while taking photos

What’s so not innocent about that?

      8. yeah, i don’t think there’s anything wrong (that we know of) with the photo posted either. she’s dressed quite conservatively (and the other girls are as well, is that considered revealing in hong kong..?).

    2. Don’t you think it’s precisely because she’s simple that she wears her emotion on her sleeve and thus cry in public. If she’s so weathered and high EQ, she wouldn’t be simple anymore.

    3. I have just seen the ‘car shake’ photos with Laughing and can see why the male producers and main lead actors want her in their production. She exudes lots of coyish femine charm that any red blooded male will not fail to appreciate… somehow most of the ladies here seems fail to realize.

I bet Laughing was laughing all the way after the scene. Obviouly her acting need to mature furher in time.

      1. We ladies look beyond looks and curves and into genuine acting skills unlike you guys hot blooded male who drooled at her body

      2. If I’m not mistakne, Laughing aka Michael mentioned to Christine that she had accidentally showed something inapproriate during the act… I bet Michael likes it alot;) hehehe

      3. @Veejay: Why do people like you insist on making slimy insinuations like that? FWIW, even the tabloid that started all this nonsense stated very clearly that they were both very professional filming what could be a very awkward scene for a newbie. No wonder some gossip mags have no ethics at all when it comes to writing slanderous articles, they know there’s an audience out there waiting to lap up such character-smearing stories with relish :/

    4. In my opinion, i think most taiwanese girls who grew up in the city are not innocent. They look and act innocent but they are really not. they see nothing wrong in stealing another girl’s boyfriend.

  17. Christine could be pretending to cry to gain sympathy. We don’t know if the tears are real.

    1. i haven’t read the actual chinese reports about this. but why would she cry if it’s not true. the most important is not what the rest of the world you have nothing to do with thinks but what your family and friends think.

if the word use is too much in those magazine she should be angry/pissed instead of crying.

most newbies faces negative publicity positively because reports is still publicity. and if u don’t like it, be diplomatic and just thank the media for promoting her and the series.

      1. “but why would she cry if it’s not true. the most important is not what the rest of the world you have nothing to do with thinks but what your family and friends think.”

Slander can be very powerful and hurtful. The famous silent movie actress Ruan Lingyu committed suicide because of excessive slander by the press.

        Excepts from
        http://www.moviemoviesite.com/Years/1931-1940/1935/ruan-lingyu-commits-suicide.htm

“She also acknowledged the role that gossip – both malicious and idle – had played in her decision, using the phrase ‘renyan kewei’ which can be translated to mean ‘gossip is a fearful thing.’ She also censured Zhang Damin, for selling maliciously slanderous stories to the press. ‘You may not have killed me with your own two hands,’ she wrote, ‘but I have died because of you.’”

      2. “i haven’t read the actual chinese reports about this. but why would she cry if it’s not true.”

The same reasons why we all cry when faced with malicious slanders. Frustration, anger, inability to defend oneself. All these even when the slander is true! Crying or not crying has nothing to do with anything being true or not. In time she will learn to have that glassy stare that all veterans have when it comes to any gossip or rumour and use them to her advantage. But for now, let her cry. She will learn.

      3. @kidd
Which is why I question her survivability in the entertainment circle. Doubt anyone wants blood on their hands.

    2. We don’t know if the tears are fake, too.

Why she can’t cry? In just few months, she has more rumours than she had in the past combined. Being tortured by the reporters everyday can make her cry. You know how harsh the reporters can be when asking.

  18. Another TVB actress in tears, JJ Jia… with Louis Fan in Next Magazine… “Third Party”.

      1. Louis Fan actually had an ex-wife and 2 kids in HK, and JJ didn’t know. And they were actually starting a relationship.
Media accused her of being the 3rd party in breaking up Louis Fan and his wife.

      2. Thanks for the info Nicole. I never knew that Louis was once married and had kids. However, you mentioned that she is his ex wife which means that they are no longer together. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with starting a relationship with JJ Jia. Unless he was still with his wife while starting a relationship with JJ Jia.

      3. so the real culprit is actually Louis Fan who lied of being single to JJ? JJ didnt know he has a family and kids.. and started relationship.. with that guy.. poor JJ, i bet she already slept with Louis since she seems a bit of naive to me.

      4. I read somewhere, Louis still has a legal wife..not ex-wife right?

      5. If Louis is still legally married and keep it from JJ, that means he’s an a$$ who cheated on his wife, JJ and his innocent kids.

      6. In Sarcastic Mode : Can’t blame Louis Fan, who won’t get aroused with JJ”s devilicious body and sultry voice? lol

      7. Nicr sarastic mode Veejay. I feel sorry for Louis wife and kids if this is true. Men can be hot blooded animal when they found pretty faces and good curves women.

      8. It’s an ex wife. EX being the operative word. So what’s the problem?

      9. No, it was reported that JJ did not know about it. If Louis Fan had told her about it honestly, she might not have this reaction.. Now she might feel cheated in both love and te media’s rubbish reporting.

      10. According to Louis Fan’s statement, he was never married, but did live with the mother of his children. They broke up 4 years ago. Judging from the timing of his and JJ’s relationship (only 1 mth ‘officially’), I believe JJ when she says that she honestly didn’t know about the man’s baggage. She said they met at Timmy Hung’s wedding.

      11. What is it about Timmy Hung who is in the next to the centre of scandals? I mean first Benny and now this. He has strange friends or maybe women shouldn’t go to him for who to date.

    1. JJ Jia is another promoted actress besides Christine. What a coincidence that both are in tears.

    2. If they are good actresses, they can fake their tears easily.

      1. You do not need to be a good actress to fake your tears.

      2. I agree. A bad actress can also fake cries. I think Christine and TVB just want to expose her with all these rumours

  19. Poor Christine, first of all, she can’t control the news about what may not be real. Then looking back at all the fadans, look like Linda and Tavia are the one with least negative rumour, but Linda apprears after single series phrasing her partner how good he is, then I have a feeling that there’s something rather diplomatic about her. I believe Tavia and Myolie have good relationship with their coworkers but Kate, does she that troublersome or just the victim of the media. Then the question is why some but not the other? I personally think there can’t be smooth for everyone to film one series but the rumour is only targeted on selected actor/actress.

    1. Probably TVB wants to promote Christine so badly, they deliberately want to create more noise for her especially since Christine’s acting is not impressive yet.

    2. What is so troublesome with Kate? I don’t see much complaints about her from her co-workers, or I can’t recall of any. Would you enlighten me about the bad comments of the co-workers about Kate’s attitude?

Linda is always portrayed Goddess by reporters, actually that.

  20. Is Christine such a naughty and “bad” girl plus being a poor actor who speaks lousy Cantonese? Why are they running her down? Do they resent her good looks and sexy figure? I think the latest criticism of her trying to seduce Michael Tse is truly uncalled for. For goodness sake, he is a veteran actor and knows how to protect himself. Michael should stand forth and say something to show he’s a gentleman and not leave her in the lurch.

    1. Michael Tse is famous for being drunkard and party animal. He’s been caught fooling around in nightclubs before. That’s why it’s easy to put him in this seduction rumour

      1. Yes, Michael is famous enough but he still had rumour despite he doesn’t need. Somehow I feel with the actresses, rumour might bring their career down while it is opposite for actors, look at Raymond Lam, Bosco and even Ron.

      2. I didn’t know Michael had these rumour too. It must be hard to be a HK artiste and to endure all these bad press

      3. Famous for being drunkard? C’mon, he has only been reported drunk at his own birthday party and on very special occasions such as birthdays and weddings of close friends with whom he feels safe to drink with. This latest seduction news has already been proven pure fabrication by the tabloids, and it takes no genius to figure out many of those times “he’s been caught fooling around in nightclubs” are fake as well. Perhaps it’s because he’s acted so many “jeen men” in his dramas that tabloids find it easy to target him and audiences find it easy to believe bad of him, just look at how even an innocent meal with colleagues at tvb’s own public canteen can be twisted against him, poor guy!

      4. You’re Michael’s fan. Of course you’ll automatically defend him but from others angle, he’s just another party animal celebrity out there.

      5. I’m not denying how he tends to be viewed at all, I’m just saying how untrue certain reports of him are — he’s been photographed even more times cooking and walking his dogs and shopping and travelling with his wife, and it’s obvious given the party invitations he’s had that he’s quite well-liked and popular within a wide circle of friends many of whom are very well-respected, yet some people insist on ignoring all that and automatically thinking the worst of him.

    2. Because she has bad acting, someone here even called her bimbo. You can know that saying she is a naughty girl is still very light.

If Christine has a fanbase or her fans are as noisy as someone, maybe she will be bashed less.

  21. Christine suddenly is featured in so many rumours after her role in GJ2. I’m surprised at this. She’s pretty and more curvy than typical TVB actresses, but is she that gorgeous to be called goddess? I’m not sure.

    1. I don’t get why she’s labelled as Goddess either. She’s good looking, but not that beautiful

      1. Maybe because TVB lack this kind of pretty and curvy actresses and Christine is a fresh breath of new air? Hehe

      2. yeah, majority of tvb’s actresses are stick thin. i don’t find christine to be a goddess (because i’m a girl!) but i think she’s pretty, not stick thin, and has curves which is rare in hong kong these days.

      3. HK people really use the ‘goddess’ term loosely. Cilla Kung is also called a ‘goddess’ before when she got famous during YSSS. WTF?

      4. but can’t deny that Christine is voluptous and has more women appeal than TVB’s stick thin top five so called fadans whom either almost look like men or look older than their age. Only Fala is pretty enough LOL.

      5. Linda is not stick thin.. she is quite big size compared to the rest

  22. Sigh. Just because Christine is heavily promoted but her acting skill is not up to the task, some of you guys make all kind of negative conjecture about her personality.

    Just because she’s a bad actress doesn’t mean she’s a bad person.

    1. I errr… quite like her as an actress. I thought she could play someone spunky, albeit with a strange accent. If her cantonese was better, I have no doubt she has potential. So far she is growing on me. The same sort of effect that that aweful actor named Jacky Heung has on me.

      1. Haha. This makes me really interested in watching her performance in GJ2. I like her in Super Snoops when her character crossdress. She was funny in that part.

Ah, Jacky Heung. I miss him. He’s currently focusing on stage play. I hope he come back to the big screen. I want to see more of him.

      2. Kidd, why am I still obsessed with Jacky Heung? He is such a terribly bad actor but I still like him. Why? What is his power over me? Imagine if he and Christine plays a couple.

      3. Funn,
FYI, random tidbit, Jacky Heung broke up with Race Wong (from pop duo 2R) earlier.

      4. I find Jacky Heung to resemble a more chiseled version of Eric Li. Who is more arresting?

      5. ” Imagine if he and Christine plays a couple.”

Haha, that would be interesting to see. 2 magnetic bad actors acting together. Haha. But, I’ve read a review of Jacky’s stage play. The reviewer said he’s improved a lot in his acting. Maybe he’s not so terrible now.

      6. @ Jayne

I didn’t know that he has broken up with Race. In older reports, he seems to adore Race. Can you give me the link of the news?

      7. “I find Jacky Heung to resemble a more chiseled version of Eric Li. Who is more arresting?”

Jacky Heung. For some insane unknown reason I can’t take my eyes off him in AFOS. Eric Li, depends on his role. Maybe it is his monotone droll way of speaking.

He has improved eh Kidd? Hope to see him in TVB series soon!

  23. Haha, this reminds me of Gillian crying over the peeping photos scandal, then appear quite calm when the edison scandal arose….:S

I give some benefit of doubt for Christine, but her stories seems inconsistence.

As much as i do not really like Linda last time, but she worked with various of male colleagues that are married and yet, she was only rumour to be with Raymond and Ron… who are/were single 😀

Christine, you choose this ‘arena’. You should deal with it esp if the are not putting the lenses in your house.

    1. LOL naive Gill is actually spreading her legs for EDC’s lenses 😛

    2. Linda had LF (dun reveal to public but actually happened), Philip Ng (come true later), the lawyer and a little with Ron in the beginning of her career, not much. Btw there was news that Benny tried to approach her in their series but she acted high so he changed to someone else in the crew of this series.

  24. omg… why is she crying? its not THAT scandalous. she says its from filming. There are witnesses and crew members. Michael Tse didn’t respond, his wife is not pointing a finger at her. why is she crying for? if she didn’t do, who cares what ppl say? she has nothing to prove anyway. the public will also know she’s telling the truth when the series is broadcasted.

if she can’t handle made-up stories and the way the media writes things, then obviously this industry is not for her. WEAK

    1. LOL this is her first big gossip so I give her chance. If she still cry and moan in the future then she need to pack her bags and leave. The HK ent industry isn’t for weak hearted.

      1. And for the power of tabloids. Do you know how many ppl believe in the tabloids :P?

  25. Not a fan of her acting but I do feel bad for her. Such rumors! She need to toughen up and ignore those rumors as there’s not much she can do.

  26. Just wish she would stop taking such big roles and learn to speak properly first – last night’s episode of Ghetto where she was telling Myolie off was so pathetic when she delivered her lines…ugh

    1. I wish! It will spare us from seeing her horrible acting and neverending scandals

      1. agree……… to much scandals and very bad in acting tired of seeing her in all the tvb series

      2. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Praise the Lord if she does leave the entertainment circle

  27. Omyyygosh……she’s a drama queen NOW…..sigh why can’t she just shakes it off like other tvb artist do why does she have to make a scene for………

    1. This can be a tactic to get attention. Tears will make naive audience fell for her trick but not if we think more

  28. she wants the spotlight shining on her stupidity that what I think lol……..she like another Kate Tsui which I dont like!!!

    1. If only Christine can be a drama queen onscreen too. I’m annoyed at woman who cried to get attention and sympathy!

    2. agree. i couldn’t stand Kate Tsui too. i find her as fake as Christine Kuo. Both of them should get together.

  29. Sigh………..if only TVB could be the same senior TVB artist like

    Charmaine SheH
    Esther Kwan
    Ada Choi

    Bobby Au-Yeung
    Bowie Lam
    Roger Kwok
    Patrick Tam
    Ng, Kai Wah

  30. I also buy the “planned” argument. Come on, how can a scene from a series be mistaken for being real? Because it’s no mistaken. TVB higher ups planned and set this up to boost exposure. Such BS from TVB to do this. Stay strong Christine!

  31. Good to see her cry, learning to cry is one of the first acting abilities you need to master to become an actor. Anyone have photochopped untasteful pictures of Kuo? Anyone ready for Typhoon Kuo?!?!?!?

  32. after reading the comments, I’ve come to the conclusion that some of you people are worse than the media. 😛 Absolutely terrible.

  33. hhhmmmmmmmmmm…Im kinda thinkin that she somehow made this rumor and leaked it out to the media so that she could promote herself and have more spot light shining on her

    1. Haha, never thought about that, but definitely must praise her for her effort in leaking the news

  34. ppl prey on the weak. the same reason why some ppl here make harsh and bullying comments about her. i dont think the problem is with her but rather, they is an excess of overly asinine mean ppl around, including those in the media and now this place.

  35. Ehh…… You really think that? Then if you were her, do you really think it’s a good idea to be promote? Do you think leaking out those stupid kind of rumor is good for her? No, definitely not! Cause not everyone feel sorry for her as you see and some people may even misunderstand her… So I’m very sure she’s innocent!

    1. Ups, it should be a replier to a comment, but however, I can say it to everyone who is against her. I think she’s innocent. I feel very sorry for her, because she has so many rumors and have many haters. I don’t see any reason that makes people hate her. She’s just a new innocent actress who wants to do her job as an actress. Maybe just because she’s too beautiful, which makes people thinks she’s link with many actor. Oh, please, you don’t know her, can everyone gives her a chance. She’s a newbie, so she cannot be as good as those who has worked as actresses in many years. I’m so tired of reading her rumors. Let this innocent little girl be! Please!

  36. One rumour might be fake but several rumours might not be completely false. In my opinion, Christine does not look innocent and simple; she looks like a ****. This is a strong accusation but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. She has been given many chances by tvb but it is obvious that she has no talent and her Cantonese is crap. We should give people the opportunity to improve but for an audience to watch such a person act time after time, it’s just annoying. Go into hiding and practice ur Cantonese and acting first. A ****** girl with no talent will not succeed in the industry for long!

  37. Christine, to be honest, isn’t that good at acting. I kinda
feel sad for her. But, if she’s innocent or not innocent, we can voice our opinions. But, the truth, only she knows.

  38. lol…..gotta say not much ppl like her only a few will back her up when will idiotic scandals end its kinda getting boring to see her on the media
