Christine’s former boyfriend and 2008 Mr. Hong Kong participant, Joey Law (罗天宇) reportedly tried to reconcile his former relationship with Christine. Since Joey’s mother is Christine’s godmother, Joey allegedly sought his mother’s help to mend their romance. Joey reportedly had succeeded winning back his ex-girlfriend’s love.

Responding to reconciliation rumors with Joey, Christine said, “It’s impossible right now! At that point, we broke up to concentrate on our work more, so how can it be? Actually, we have not been seeing each other for a while. We contacted each other because of this news; he also said that he did not say anything about reconciliation.”

Christine admitted that she got along well with Joey’s mother, and would sometimes go over to Joey’s place to drink his mother’s soup. She was quick to note that she did not stay overnight at Joey’s place, as Christine is living by herself.

Christine Assures Parents That She Has Not Changed

Promoted heavily by TVB as the next fadan, Christine is surrounded by scandals one after another. She was rumored to be entangled in a love triangle with TV King, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Niki Chow (周麗淇). Although filming for new TVB drama, A Great Way to Care 2 <仁心解碼II>, only started recently, Christine has already been romantically linked to costar, Edwin Siu (蕭正楠). Lately, tabloids claimed that Christine worked her charm on Raymond Cho (曹永廉) too.

Faced with so much scandalous news, Christine emphasized that her name was clear. However, she was worried about her parents getting the wrong ideas. Christine said, “I told my parents, their daughter did not turn bad!”

Myolie Wu Defends Francis Ng

Earlier, Francis Ng (吴镇宇) reportedly flared up during filming Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II>. While admitting that she was once scolded by Francis when filming Triumph in the Skies about nine years ago, Myolie was quick to say that he only meant well. “It was only for business and it’s not personal. We were all inexperienced in those years, and he would scold us, but that was for our own good. Without him, I will not be where I am now. He is considered my first mentor. If he were to scold me now, I will feel terrible!”

  1. Christine is just like Selena and Sonjia Kwon always surrounded be false rumors.

    1. Rumours are sometimes good for promotion to an actress.

  2. Christine is becoming a favourite for media now. She’s attracts rumour and they love to write about her 😀

  3. She’s somewhat pretty but I do not get the media’s fixation on her. Does her news really sell tabloids?

  4. She’s pretty and voluptous that’s why media love her. If only she can improve her acting and Cantonese

  5. To me, it’s obvious that tvb is feeding these rumors to the media to promote her. I wouldn’t be surprised if her and Joey are still dating but they told her to be quiet about it so that she can be seen as single and desirable.

  6. I am sorry, I just don’t get it. Is she really that pretty? Face wise, Gigi Lai is more beautiful. Cantonese wise, Candy Cheung beats hear (and lets not mention Candy speaks fluent Mandarin and English too and is also a new actress and has a killer figure). Acting wise, even newbies such as Lin Xia Wei are better. I just don’t get the whole “goddess” hype about this girl. I hate to say this, but even JJ Jia, whom I don’t like acting wise, is better than this girl.

  7. I hope she can handle the tabloid . These rumors has long lasting effect, just look at Sonijia. Unless she get married. Isn’t Raymond Cho married? O.o.

  8. I quite like her but her acting really suck and i can’t stand the way she talk lolz.

  9. I don’t remember reading about Christine and Joey breaking up. Why did they break up?

That said, there’s been a lot of Christine’s news and she’s only a newbie, supporting actress.

  10. Let’s be honest, her star is rising and she probably doesn’t want to be tied down to someone like Joey.

  11. In terms of current popularity, Christine Kuo’s is way higher than Joey’s. If she wants to boost her popularity more, she should get herself or her name tied up with Kevin Cheng or Kenneth Ma, surely not Joey Law. She is not that stupid!
