Eddie Peng Not Interested in Wrecking Cecilia Liu and Nicky Wu’s Relationship
After popular Mainland series Sound of the Desert <風中奇緣> aired, Cecilia Liu (劉詩詩) and Eddie Peng‘s (彭於晏) onscreen chemistry was speculated to be a result of mutual attraction. When the drama was filmed last year, it was rumored that the pair was involved for six months although Cecilia was secretly dating Nicky Wu (吳奇隆) at the time.
Cecilia and Eddie’s kiss scene in Sound of the Desert heated up screens. They insisted on filming the scene in water because they wanted a more realistic effect. While the scene where Eddie kissed her shoulder was tolerable and within her limits, Cecilia firmly drew the line at further passionate scenes. “The safety procedures were done really well and I didn’t give it too much thought. However, you can tell that it was freezing cold. When we were done filming, I turned pale. I went from purple to white.”
However, Cecilia laughed off the rumors that claimed she and Eddie were involved with each other. Since officially announcing her relationship with Nicky Wu last year, Cecilia was spotted at Nicky’s house several times. Although countless marriage rumors have surfaced, Cecilia said that they “have not discussed it”.
Eddie Peng Not Interested in Being Third Party
Eddie responded that he is not interested in dating a woman who is already in a relationship. Denying his rumors with Cecilia, Eddie said that the press liked to romantically link co-stars together even when there was nothing between them. “It looks like I have to clarify once– the media reports are very scary. But I want to reassure everyone that being a third party is not my specialty.”

Really? That’s so silly! I do ship them on screen, but in real life I don’t think they have the personality to match. Eddie is older than LSS but he has a more youthful vibe, where I don’t think he is ready for a steady relationship. Where as LSS seem more mature. She even looks more mature now that she is dating NW. I think this all speculated, when they both were wishing each other happy birthday and stuff, and when LSS and NW announced their relationship, Eddie posted something about regret. Probably all a coincidence. I think EP can have chemistry with a rock! keke
I hope LSS & NW will get marry soon. They announced their relationship more than a year now (11/2013).
When both LSS and Eddie were filming this serie (back in 2012), LSS is STILL SINGLE. HEAR that, still single. Only after Bu Bu Jing Qing (mid 2013) that Nicky and LSS started dating. Both Eddie Peng and LSS can get together but they didn’t because they are not interested with each other. So now that the serie had aired. Of course, they need to make gossip to make money.
LSS can date any guy but why she choose Nicky. That my friend is the matter of LSS’s heart. Both Nicky & LSS are very happy together and I can’t wait for them to get marry soon. Love this couple
Honestly,you do not know for sure when Nicky and LSS started dating. There is a good chance that they did not announce that they were dating until they were a bit stable. I saw a report with photos of them together and they acted intimate with each other but they denied it at that time. If she just not have off screen sparks with Eddie,that is normal even if she was single. She and Hu Ge were always close but they never had any romantic sparks. Real life and on screen are two different worlds. It is normal for an on screen couple to have rumors off screen which is in turn good promotion for any series.

In the article above you said that this drama was filmed last year, but they actually filmed this drama 3 YEARS ago already!!!
They just had problems with SARFT about the historical names and other things that the production used so the SARFT didn’t allow them to air it..
So the character names in this drama are completely different than he ones in the book.
I believe Jaynestars just translate articles, they don’t write them. So the article are the ones that does the mistakes. The only thing they write is the fashion and members does reviews.
I have seen that they do not really translate the news in many cases but they just summarize it. But yes,it is true it is the articles that also has inaccurate info. However,things are always lost in translation as well but in these caess,things are often not translated.
I also want to add that they often omit many critical parts in the original article which is why it is important to click on the original source to see it all.
Good point Grace! Yes,many have forgotten that this was filmed around 3 years ago but had problems with SARFT so we’re not able to air it until recently.
