Former Miss Chinese International participant, Eileen Yeow Ying Ying recently announced on her blog that she was three months pregnant! Currently filming Show Me the Happy <依家有喜>, Eileen will film Producer Tsui Yu On’s new sitcom and play the role of a pregnant woman.
On her blog, Eileen wrote, “Thanks to my friends’ and fans’ blessings! Thank you everyone! I want to share with you that I received a very precious gift in 2011: I am going to become a mother! I am very happy and hope that my friends will share their experiences and advice with me.” Eileen’s good friends Eddie Kwan Lai Kit, Eddie Cheung Siu Fai, and many others sent their blessings.
Eileen has a steady boyfriend whom she has been dating for eight years. Eileen was very happy about her pregnancy. Since becoming with child, she only vomited in the middle of the night and the nausea has been manageable. Did Eileen have any intentions to get married soon? Noting that the baby’s health was the foremost priority, Eileen said that she did not have any marriage plans yet.

Jayne: Along with Hong Wah, I find Eileen Yeow to be one of the prettier beauty pageant participants that just never had luck on their side to make their career bigger. Hong Wah has a certain maturity to her looks and she was paired unfairly with middle-aged actors even at the early part of her career.
Congratulations to Eileen. If she is a steady and good relationship, I’m sure the wedding will eventually take place and it is just a matter of settling down to make the proper plans.

That’s great news for her! I also think that Eileen Yeow is very cute and pretty! I quite liked her in an old series called ‘Vigilante Force’ when she was paired up with Benny Chan! She used to have better supporting roles back then, these days she seems to have smaller roles.
Congrats to Eileen! Didn’t even know she was dating someone! I guess she likes to keep a low profile. Like Hong Wah, she tends to pair up with older male stars especially in recent years and takes on more “see lai” roles now. I liked her most in her role as “Apple” in Secret of the Heart.
From what I can remember, Eileen didn’t speak really good Cantonese and I guess back then that was a bit of a problem for her.
These days, not being able to speak Cantonese properly gives you more of an edge! However Eileen’s acting isn’t that great but then there are actresses who are a lot worse than her who have made it big.
It’s a shame Hong Wah was never given the chance to make it big. She played the triad boss’ wife really well. lol

I think Eileen is from Singapore so her Cantonese was a little broken. She is cute but I can not stand her voice LOL. Congrats to her! I do however think that Hong Wah has a very elegant look, very ladylike.

Congratz to Eileen! Yeah, I agree, somehow recent (last 5yrs) her only roles are those annoying 2nd wife character. She deserves better roles.
