Elaine Yiu: “Nancy Wu and Ruco Chan are Very Compatible”
Regarded as a sought-after bachelor, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) has been romantically linked to many of his female costars. Despite numerous allegations, Ruco has continued to maintain his single status. However, the 39-year-old actor may finally be ready to commit to a relationship.
Philip Ng (伍允龍) and Moon Lau (劉佩玥) may not be the only on-screen couple from A Fist within Four Walls <城寨英雄> rumored to bring their on-screen to real-life. Recent reports alleged that Ruco is currently dating his costar from the drama, Nancy Wu (胡定欣). The rumored couple has apparently been flirting through their social media accounts, and Nancy’s good friends Elaine Yiu (姚子羚) and Mandy Wong (黃智雯) did not deny the reports.
Elaine, who is believed to be the first among Nancy’s friends to know of the relationship, praised that Ruco is a fitting partner. “I don’t know if they are really dating or not. When the group of us girls get together, we won’t ask one another about our dating lives. I hope they really do have the opportunity to develop their relationship. I think they are very compatible! Actually, I’ve known Ruco for quite some time. He’s good looking and is a desirable bachelor. He’s also very filial. Their on-screen chemistry in A Fist within Four Walls was also very well-received.”
Mandy also expressed that she thought they were compatible. “Nancy is a good girl. Having pursuers is not surprising. She said that [she is open to dating] anyone. The most important thing is that she’s happy! Let me ask her about it.”

The report contains contradictions. It says Elaine knows about the “relationship”,yet it then quotes her as saying that she did not know if they were dating? Huh? And, what kind if friends would talk to the media about a friend’s love life? Especially since they are all in the entertainment industry! Unless Nancy has asked them to!! This insentivity is a vivid indication of their severe character flaws! Shame on you all for putting Ruco on the spot and embarrassing him to the umph degree!!

if Elaine is one of the BFFs, then she shouldn’t talk about her friend’s love life.
@janet72 she was asked a question and she responded in a diplomatic manner. I see nothing wrong with that.
@isay there’s a lot wrong with that, especially about a situation that she’s not clear about, and being in the entertainment industry. She has to know that the media exists to make money and will go to any extent to sell the news!! I still maintain Nancy and Elaine are out there to catch any attention they can get!!
@jokercanadian her reply is standard PR type reply. It didn’t reveal anything about Nancy that shouldn’t be revealed. I really don’t see what’s the big deal.
@isay that’s the problem! It didn’t reveal the truth! Just a bunch of if’s. But I was mostly disappointed with Jazz, as an official TVB representative, in putting Ruco on the spot by instigating the personal and sensitive conversation regarding the artists’ Relatioship. So unprofessional and insensitive in even social business settings, let along in an official business event! Even Ruco said he could not believe that the company would ask such questions. I sense he was offended and I definitely was also! Perhaps a letter to TVB management is in order!

As for Ruco, we need not worry for him as he’s experienced enough to know this is all part and parcel which comes with his job. I’m sure he can handle worse stuff than these romantic rumours and being “put on the table”. Paper cannot contain fire. If they’re really in a relationship, we’ll find out sooner or later. As for now, I don’t think they are.
