Rumored ex-lovers, Charmaine Sheh (佘诗曼) and Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), crossed each other’s paths at Toby Leung’s (梁靖琪) wedding earlier in the week. Yesterday morning, the pair flew to Singapore together to attend the 16th Annual Asia Television Awards, taking home the TV King and TV Queen titles! From the surface, they did not appear to be intimately involved, however Charmaine and Kevin still regarded each other as friends. Charmaine allegedly chatted continuously with Kevin at Toby’s wedding and have supported him all along.
Since winning the 2011 TVB Best Actor Award, Kevin’s work engagements have been nonstop. After filming Ghetto Justice 2 <怒火街頭 II>for two consecutive days, Kevin flew to Singapore with ex-rumored flame, Charmaine Sheh, as well as Fala Chen (陳法拉) and TVB executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲) for the 16th Annual Asia Television Awards.

Arriving at the airport separately, Charmaine and Kevin may have been afraid of the awkward situation and did not speak much with each other. In contrast, Kevin chatted frequently with Fala. Asked whether he did not say much to Charmaine because he was afraid of the awkward situation, Kevin said, “At Toby’s wedding, we already chatted a lot! We are friends; there is no need to be awkward.”
Charmaine also noted that she had spent a lot of time chatting with Kevin at Toby’s wedding. “When Kevin received the TV King Award, I immediately congratulated him. I was very happy! I have always supported him. We have always been friends.” Yesterday morning, Charmaine heard that Kevin had a car accident. “No need to worry. He has a lucky streak; there will not be any injuries!” Kevin revealed that many friends called him after the car accident.
Kevin Cheng Not Eager to Increase Filming Fees
Asked whether he possessed the confidence to win the 2011 Asia Television Best Actor Award, Kevin admitted that he did not know the background of his competitors, but he said with a note of liveliness, “Tonight I will tell you!” Even if he were to receive the TV King Award in Singapore, he will not be increasing his filming fees. “I am just earning enough for meals! Increasing my fees again? No one will hire me then!”
Charmaine Sheh indicated that she will regard the Asia Television Awards in a relaxed manner since she never considered that she would be nominated.
TVB Actors Swept Awards at 16th Annual Asia Television Awards
At last night’s 16th Annual Asia Television Awards, TVB actors took away the top honors. Kevin Cheng won the Best Actor Award for his performance in Ghetto Justice and Charmaine Sheh won the Best Actress Award for Can’t Buy Me Love <公主嫁到>. Fala Chen (陳法拉) won the Best Supporting Actress and Evergreen Mak (麥長青) the Best Supporting Actor for their respective roles in No Regrets <義海豪情>.

i noted that there wasn’t any korean actor/actress in the ATA’s nominee for best actor/actress and best supporting actor/actress, since nowadays korean drama is being aired in almost asian countries, that’s a little bit weird.

ATA) one which is a biggy. He deserves to feel proud of his achievements resulting from years of hard work and faith in himself. I think he should go for another biggy and that is the beautiful and talented actress herself, Charmaine Sheh.
