2007 is the year of the “golden pig” in Chinese astrology and many married women are eager to have babies [to bring in monetary luck]. Although Fala Chen was not born in the year of the pig, but she is awaiting a fruitful year in 2007. The series which she has filmed are awaiting release next year. She will be able to see her “report card” results then!

Which series has Fala filmed in the past? Although you may not recall the titles, Fala has still left a deep impression among many people. Is it because her name sounds like the luxury car, Ferrari? Or is it because of her beautiful features and perfect figure? Maybe it’s all of the above. Fala is able to have this ability; perhaps this is known as affinity with the audience!

Fala’s part in “Forensic Heroes” was not very significant. Her upcoming series include “Ultimate Crime Fighter”, “Family Link,” and “Heart of Greed.” It is obvious that Fala is heavily promoted by TVB.

“I don’t know when the series will be released, but I hope the audience enjoys watching them! I play very different characters in each series; one is a villianess! I’m feeling quite anxious now, similiar to completing an exam and awaiting the results!

Since Fala is still a new artist, not measuring her acting abilities, it is nevertheless quite remarkable that she has been able to stand out amidst a sea of beautiful faces in the entertainment industry.

“Since competing in the Miss Chinese International pageant, it has been one year. I have gained a lot, especially freedom. It is different than staying in school. I can interpret my own depiction of characters in acting, I can decide on how to look in photographs, and can earn money to purchase the things I like! During my free time, I can schedule a vacation!”

Fala enjoys filming. Despite long hours of continuous filming, she will still look ravishingly beautiful with very few hours of sleep. As long as she has a goal in mind, she will be motivated to do better. “When I think about my long-term opportunities, I will be motivated. I love going to work each day, as you get to meet many new friends during filming. At first I was not used to separating from the cast after the completion of a series, but you get to see them again afterwards at TVB studio.”

“TVB gave me a lot of opportuntiies, all of which I cherish. Whether they are leading parts or not, that’s not important. Everyone has to put in their efforts.”

Without watching Fala’s acting performance before, you might have associated her with rumors of being “flirtatious” Fala laughed, “I don’t mind what the tabloids write. Working in the industry, you have to be prepared to face rumors and be photographed. But my mother is very concerned about my rumors and will follow the tabloids everyday. If she knows that I have to film in remote areas, she will be concerned.”

Many parents will worry about their children. Luckily Fala inherited her mother’s culinary skills. She can cook Japanese, Italian, and Chinese dishes equally well. When Fala has free time, she often cooks and makes soups, so Mrs. Chan should not be worried about her daughter!

Jayne: Fala is no doubt extremely beautiful and heavily promoted by TVB. It’s just a matter of time before TVB gives her lead roles. I’m glad TVB is taking it a little slowly with promoting new actresses now, at least give them small parts and have them absorb some acting experience first.

Despite her melting smile, I can sense her ambition. She is not someone willing to settle as secondary and supporting actress for long. She seems to want to climb to the top and get there quickly. You can sort of sense that by the way she carries herself and how she makes herself stand out at large events. She is already a favorite at fashion shows and getting more ad endorsements with each passing month.
