Fantasy Film “The Warrior’s Gate” Set for November 18

Fundamental Films and EuropaCorp have released a new set of character posters for their upcoming joint production The Warrior’s Gate <勇士之门>, a fantasy film about a teenage gamer who gets magically transported into a fantasy China.

The martial arts fantasy, directed by Matthias Hoene, stars American actor Uriah Shelton as a teenage video game addict who gets magically transported into a fantasy China. There, he meets a warrior (portrayed by Mark Chao 赵又廷), who is in a war against the leader of a savage race (portrayed by Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista). Ni Ni (倪妮) and Francis Ng (吴镇宇) also star in the film, respectively as a princess and a magician.

The film, which was shot in English, was budgeted at 300 million RMB. It will be released in China on November 18, 2016.
