Felix Wong Supports Jenny Lau

Felix Wong (黃日華) and his 22-year-old daughter, Adrian Wong (黃芷晴), attended a pool party hosted by CTI yesterday. Felix and Adrian are currently starring in CTI’s detective drama, The Open Brain of Watch and Exploration <開腦儆探>, which will also be Adrian’s debut in the entertainment industry after signing a film contract with CTI in July.

Since filming with his daughter last month, what were Felix’s thoughts on working with his daughter? Felix exclaimed, “She is very strong and hardworking. Her performance is outstanding, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.”

Felix was also asked for his thoughts on the recent incident regarding Jenny Lau’s (劉蔚萱) maltreatment by TVB director, Cheung Wing Ho (張永豪). Felix expressed his support for Jenny and said, “I was acquainted with Cheung Wing Ho. At that time, he was still a Production Assistant.” Asked if he had ever seen the director yelling at his actors, Felix revealed, “I’ve seen him yelling at Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼). I will not reveal the details, but Charmaine really has high EQ.”

Felix also added that he would protect his daughter if she was suffering from similar abuses, regardless of whoever that person may be. He stressed that society needs improvement, harmony, and should not promote violence.

  1. Poor Charmaine who really had a very high EQ! No wonder she is so successful now. Very happy for her and her personality. With a lower EQ, she would not have survived in TVB and entertainment industry.

  4. If you see Charmaine interview you know she rarely talk bad about anyone, she is extremely diplomatic in her answer…so for her to says anything bad about Cheung Wing Ho, the guy must have treat her so bad. When Charmaine was TVB # 1 sister she could have request to work with him and give back the “favor” but I don’t she did.

    1. Charmaine is a very classy and professional artiste. Also she knows how to present herself without offending others.

I remembered that Charmaine was asked about the performance of Sheren Tang in “No Regrets” when it was airing with tons of praises on Sheren’s acting. Charmaine said she admired Sheren’s fantastic acting with her eyes. She said she had to excel in this as well.

  5. I still can’t get over it that his daughter is called “Adrian”. Isn’t Adrian a guy’s name?

  6. Adrian is a unisex name. I grew up knowing a few girls named Adrian in my school.

      1. I haven’t met girls named Adrian either, but I have know many girls named Adrienne.

I would rather name my daughter Adrienne instead of Adrian. At least people can tell her gender right away.

      2. Yep, Adrian is a unisex name. Remember the movie Rocky??? His wife is called Adrian.

  7. oh wow Felix really praised Adrian. Will have to wait and see how she perform.

    1. A dog can’t be the offspring of a tiger right? LOL

At least she can speak proper cantonese and im pretty sure her acting is much better than the newly ascended goddesses at Mount Olympus 🙂

  8. Felix and his daugther in the same drama, sounds interesting! Does anyone know when CTI will start airing their productions?

    1. Well, “The Other Justin” probably won’t need this.
he gave us an unnecessary and indepth play-by-play that will haunt us all forever.

    2. What has the scandal got to do with this story? We really don’t need to view this.
