Last month, the infidelity scandals of TVB siu sangs Raymond Lam (林峯), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), and Ron Ng (吳卓羲) took Hong Kong by storm. Sudden Weekly fueled the fire by releasing Ron Ng’s explicit sexual text messages and audio clips with a mysterious woman. This threw Ron’s ex-girlfriend, Viann Zhang (張馨予), into a raging fit. Various sources indicate that Ron’s sexual escapades have angered TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲), prompting her to consider pulling Ron out of future productions and endorsements!
Derek Kok Frequently Brings Ron Ng to Nightclubs?
Ron was dubbed as the most extreme womanizer among the “Three Amorous Knights.” Face Magazine reported that Ron Ng frequented nightclubs with fellow TVB actor, Derek Kok (郭政鴻). A reliable source claimed that Ron and Derek have been regular guests at Asian Standard Tower’s nightclub, Embassy, since January 2012.
Located in the Central district, Embassy is a relatively new nightclub that opened to the public for the first time in June 2011. Since its grand opening, the nightclub gave free invitations to celebrities, hoping to attract more VIP guests in the future. An insider revealed, “All of the club’s employees, from the managers to the custodians, know that celebrities like to hang out [at Embassy], so they would not be surprised if they see celebrities around.”
The insider revealed, “In January, Ron Ng and Derek Kok came to the club together. They tried several girls, and they drank and sang karaoke all night. The girls were really high! Four hours later, they went out for a late-night snack. As for what happened after that, I don’t know…”
The insider alleged that Derek Kok is a regular guest, and he liked to bring his friends along whenever Embassy had a new makeover. “Usually it’s Derek Kok who brings his new friends along,” said the insider. “A while ago, Ron came a lot. Bosco Wong hasn’t been back for a while. Raymond Lam has been playing it safe recently, and he rarely shows up. He will only show up depending on who’s going there.”
Embassy Has Tight Security
Embassy has tight security arrangements with many close circuit cameras guarding the entrance. According to several reports, only members are allowed to enter the club. Only a friend of the owner or a friend of an original member can obtain Embassy’s membership.
Derek Kok Denies Clubbing Claims
Derek Kok denied his clubbing claims in a phone interview yesterday. He found the fabricated reports humorous and laughed, “None of this is true at all! Not even one bit!” When asked if his wife believes the reports, he said his wife trusts him enough to not believe the allegations. He joked, “I really don’t know what else to do, but I have to thank them for putting me in the headlines!”
Asked if Derek is good friends with Ron, Derek admitted that they are good colleagues. Derek explained, “We don’t go out at night together. I have two very young daughters, and they have taken most of my free time.” Derek said that he believed Ron’s promiscuous rumors were exaggerated, and that he treated the reports as nonsensical gossip. “I think Ron can get through this,” said Derek.
