Gigi Lai and Michelle Reis Both Pregnant With Their Second Child
Retired Hong Kong actresses, 40-year-old Gigi Lai (黎姿) and 41-year-old Michelle Reis (李嘉欣), had several things in common. Gigi had once dated Michelle’s husband, Julian Hui (许晋亨), many years ago. Both women found love and got married in 2008 to influential, powerful men, cementing their elite statuses in Hong Kong society. It was understood that Gigi and Michelle were both in the early stages of pregnancy at this time!
Gigi Lai Eager To Chase A Boy
Gigi Lai gave birth to a set of premature twin daughters in July 2010. The girls were conceived via in-vitro fertilization. Carrying twins caused Gigi to balloon up to 180 pounds. According to Next Magazine, Gigi’s husband, Patrick Ma (馬廷強), was concerned about Gigi’s safety and did not want her to become pregnant again. However, Gigi wanted to give her husband a son, thus successfully conceived again via in-vitro fertilization recently.
Patrick was reportedly so happy with Gigi’s second pregnancy that he was eager to buy a new house for Gigi! The couple was spotted scouting a $100 million HKD luxury home together.
Gigi’s friend, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, stated that Gigi appeared to have gained weight at a social gathering last month. “After one month of not seeing Gigi, she gained obvious weight. She intentionally did not wish to remove her jacket. We teased her as to whether she was pregnant. She smiled and did not reply. Afterward, we realized that she was pregnant!”
Michelle Reis Spotted With Baby Bump
Since Michelle Reis gave birth to her son, Jayden Max Hui, in February 2011, she was often asked when she intended to have another baby. As early as January 2012, Michelle was rumored to be carrying a “Dragon Girl.” The former actress continued to deny pregnancy rumors despite being spotted with a noticeable baby bump on March 18th. Going out to dinner with husband, Julian Hui, Michelle wore a tight-fitting grew dress which revealed her baby bump.
When asked if she was pregnant, Michelle smiled and said no. Supported by her husband, Michelle dodged press questions. Perhaps Michelle did not wish to admit that she was pregnant until the passing of the first trimester of pregnancy, after the fetus’ condition was stabilized.

Not necessarily. Take Michelle Reis for example. Isn’t her husband also rich? She’s only 1 year older than Gigi, but she looked a few years. I thought she was beautiful back in the days, still is, but she definitely didn’t age-well. Gigi has a young face.
There are many women with richer husband than Gigi but their looks aren’t as good as her in her age.

Bird nest can help but can’t against the time 100%. Some have a lot of bird nest and even botox but still can’t keep the youth with them.
I guess genetics is a part of it but your lifestyle and how you take care of yourself is also a part of it. Look at Yammie Lam, she looks like she is 67 when she is only supposed to be 47 due to her sad and tragic life.

She dared herself in her age to give birth to his children, it can be considered as love. Maybe she dun love him like the type of young girls but she admires him and respects him as a husband. Then, they can make a happy family with a lot of love and respects.

Why so? Because he’s crippled, old and not handsome, so, Gigi couldn’t have truly love him? What about personality? What about being touched by the guy’s caring and love?

Congrats to Gigi and Michelle! Looks like the dragon year will be a big year for babies! Off the top of my head I can name several who have / will be giving birth this year: Andy Lau, Miriam Yeung, Shirley Yeung, Kelly Chen, Yoyo Chen, Sonija Kwok, and now these two ladies.

Have we ever seen her with bare skin??? We usually would see her all made up and stuff so not sure.. I remember once seeing some photos of her that people claimed had no make up on and her skin did not look that great at all…

I personally don’t think anyone has flawless skin, but her skin is probably pretty good looking. THe ones that I have seen that have good skin without make up are Ariel Lin, twins and some others. But I don’t remember anyone mentioning Gigi. However, I have a feeling she definately would look better than most actresses without make up.

What is the big deal of the hope of parents to have dragons babies? They find it is a big deal and they want to do this, it’s their belief. You don’t see the big deal but that dun mean other ppl can’t see it as a big deal, HTS.
I know that and 2 of my closest friends are dragons and one of them waited for this year to have her second baby just to have a dragon. She makes a big deal out of it like it would kill her and her husband if they did not get a dragon baby.
Now the supply of dragon babies have exploded which leads to depreciation of dragons 🙂

Yea, she is and so does her husband since they are both dragons. She always tells me that it is not a big deal to her but rather her husband’s family since they are very superstitious. However, I told her that I know many “dragons” who are not that successful or happy with their life and being a dragon was not a big deal. Wow, both of his wives have been Portuguese/Chinese hybrids. Why is his ex father in law is so angry at him when before his remarriage, the ex family only had nice things to say about Julian Hui.
she is the beautiful one i know of China and young forvere. She don’t age and looks so nature without plastic surgery. Women have been coping her look through plastic surgery.
