Thirty-nine-year-old Gigi Lai Chi gave birth to twin daughters on July, 24th at the Canossa Hospital in Hong Kong . Gigi’ husband, 53-year-old Patrick Ma Ting Keung, has been ecstatic about the birth of his twin daughters and was spotted frequenting the hospital.
At birth, one baby girl weighed six pounds (2.73kg) and the other weighed three (1.36kg). Gigi’s original due date was in August, however, she was experiencing bleeding over the weekend and thus doctors delivered the twin girls via Caesarean section prematurely. Patrick noted that Gigi and the twin girls are doing fine.
Who do the twin girls resemble? Patrick said, “They look like both of us, but the most important thing is that they are healthy.” Patrick said that the twin girls have not been named yet. When the press asked if photos of the twin girls will be released, Patrick smiled and said, “The babies need their privacy. We will not be distributing photos.”
Patrick revealed that Gigi’s appetite has not been good after delivering the twins, thus he has been bring home-made food to the hospital. Gigi is very happy, but a bit tired at the moment. Elated by the birth of his daughters, Patrick invited the twenty reporters that were present in front of the hospital out for a meal.
Gigi’s parents and friends visited the newborn twins at the hospital over the weekend. Since TVB executive, Virginia Lok Yi Ling, is currently vacationing in China , she has not been able to visit the twins in person yet. Ms. Lok sent a text message to Gigi congratulating her. Liza Wang Ming Chuen also posted a congratulatory message on her blog and intends to gather a group of artists to visit Gigi at the hospital.

Such a sweet family and such a happy father. You really can feel his happiness. And he’s so caring towards Gigi.

I thought I read another article and patrick said they will not be revealing any baby pictures….. but anyways grats to them!
Star, the above is a simulated press photo. Although Mr. Ma said he will not be releasing photos initially, I’m sure when things get settled down, we will get to see the twin girls.
But it may take some time, since one baby is only 3 pounds (sounds so tiny, must be like a little kitten now), she may need to stay in the hospital for monitoring. So maybe in 1 to 2 months, we may get to see official photos.
