Grace Chan Continues to Be a TVB Favorite
Grace Chan (陳凱琳) is nearing the end of her fulfilling her duties as Miss Hong Kong, and is ready to pass on the baton so she can begin concentrating on her acting career. Heavily promoted since being crowned last year, Grace was given opportunities to host variety shows and act in TVB dramas. Aside from her professional work ethics earning praise from her colleagues, Grace is also a filial daughter.
Spotted shopping and having dinner with her family at Causeway Bay last week, pedestrians nearby recognized Grace immediately. As people surrounded Grace, many commented on her natural beauty and her thin figure. When fans lined up for pictures, Grace and her entire family happily stopped to chat with them. Standing along the sidelines, Grace’s mother smiled while her father took out his own camera and took pictures of Grace with her fans.
Afterwards, Grace gently put her arm around her grandmother’s shoulders and resumed their shopping trip. Known for her friendly personality, Grace showed the reporters a smile every time she saw them.

Because of Grace’s optimistic and hardworking attitude, she is a favorite among the upper management team at TVB. Possessing a healthy and approachable image, she received many work opportunities. Currently filming Four Girls, Three Bars <四個女仔三個 Bar>, even Grace’s co-worker, Ben Wong (黃智賢), exclaimed that she is a smart girl, and a very fast learner.
Grace also knows how to please the crowd, and is fairly well spoken – especially when it comes down to issues about her weight. “I don’t want to brag. I want to spread a positive message – as long as you’re happy with what you eat, eat healthily, and do more exercise, then you can eat as much as you want and not gain weight.”

IMO, either, the HK media & TVB’re pretending not to notice how Indian-like (not that there’s anything wrong with that) GC looks & is instead, trying their best to pass her off as some ‘exotic-looking’ Chinese, or everyone in HK just doesn’t know the difference between an East Asian/Chinese & an Indian/South Asian person in the looks department. I think the former is most likely. Shame, TVB! Shame HK media. Exactly, WHO are your backer$!?!
Just Photoshop her picture by darkening her skin, add a red dot on the forehead & I swear, GC could pass herself off as a very full-bloodied South Asian Indian. She has a very strong South Asian facial structure.
Why all these ppl like to use the words “flat chested” “airports” to describe a woman’s body.
Firstly if you’re a woman, I wonder if you’ve a fantastic body.

This article is more praising her work attitude rather than her performance. I somehow think Grace Chan is a great opportunist and quick thinker. Watch her performance from the Miss HK Pageant she answers the best amongst everyone else.

Agreed, I am one of those people who stays skinny even after eating a lot. It’s upsetting that people keep thinking I diet and all that crap or think that I have some eating disorder, which I don’t.
