Grace Chan Denies Marriage Rumors with Kevin Cheng
TVB’s Captain of Destiny <張保仔> is airing to decent ratings, averaging 24 points during the first week. The series, which stars Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Tony Hung (洪永城), Grace Chan (陳凱琳), and Maggie Shiu (邵美琪), revolves around the theme of time-traveling and the famous Cantonese pirate Cheung Po Tsai.
Recently, the cast attended TVB’s 48th Anniversary Lighting Ceremony dressed in their costumes. Ruco, Grace, and Tony were all present and seemed to get along well with one another. The event was full of jokes and laughter, radiating a heartwarming and cheerful atmosphere.
Although Grace was rumored to have dated Ruco for three months while filming for the series, Grace denied these rumors and did not appear awkward around Ruco. Although currently dating Kevin, Grace did not intentionally keep her distance from Ruco at the event. Despite pairing up with Tony for the event, Grace was noticeably chatting with Ruco more. During the event, Grace was often seen glancing over at Ruco and smiling.
Since Kevin is already 46 years old, Grace was asked whether the couple has any plans for marriage, “No. Actually, we haven’t dated for that long and will not think about marriage that quickly. Let’s wait for us to date longer and get to know each other more. I really haven’t though much about it [marriage and children]. Let nature take its course. I have not set any goals for myself.”
