Huang Xiaoming Says “It’s Time” to Marry Angelababy
Huang Xiaoming (黄晓明) and Angelababy’s (杨颖) marriage rumors have been circulating for the past year. They may turn out to be true after all. In an interview while promoting hew new film, The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom 3D <白发魔女传之明月天国>, Xiaoming admitted that “it is time” to marry Angelababy this year.
Xiaoming was asked about his views on love. He said he wants to share an intense love with the right person, expressing that he would be willing to take in the hardships if his love was thwarted by outside forces.
Xiaoming was also asked about his relationship with Angelababy, whom he has dated for four years. He said the secret to having a long and stable relationship is to always let the girlfriend win. “This is the best solution to avoid fights.”
When the topic of his marriage rumors with Angelababy came up, Xiaoming said that marriage depends on fate and destiny. He revealed, “Before, I used to not think about getting married or having children, but this year, I feel that it is finally time to do that.” He added that the fate of a marriage depends the partners’ emotions – it will happen when the feeling is right.
Xiaoming is currently busy promoting the upcoming Jacob Cheung (张之亮) wuxia film The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom 3D, an adaptation of the popular Liang Yusheng (梁羽生) novel, Legend of the White-Haired Witch <白发魔女传>. The summer blockbuster also stars Fan Bingbing (范冰冰), Vincent Zhao (赵文卓), and Wang Xuebing (王学兵).
