Huang Xiaoming Wants to Marry Angelababy Next Year
After going public with girlfriend Angelababy (楊穎) on her 25th birthday earlier this year, mainland Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明) has constantly fielded queries about their marriage plans. Recently the 37-year-old actor stated that his plan is to tie the knot with Angelababy next year.
Though Xiaoming and Angelababy have been dating for four years, they mostly kept their relationship under wraps. It was not until her birthday in February, when Xiaoming publicly gifted her a black Lamborghini, that they began being more open about their relationship.
While both have denied rumors of an upcoming wedding, Angelababy was spotted last month with an enormous diamond ring on her finger, leading to speculation that she would soon become Mrs. Huang. Previously, Xiaoming shared that he hoped to get married before he turned 40. He also proclaimed that if his recent romantic comedy, Women Who Flirt <撒娇女人最好命>, broke 1 billion RMB at the box office, he would announce his marriage.
At a recent fan meeting in Shanghai, Xiaoming was asked again about his wedding plans, and he replied with a promise to Angelababy. “I was joking when I said I’d get married when the box office sales passed 1 billion RMB,” he said. “Whether it surpasses the number or not, I will marry Baby.
“Baby is a very, very good young lady,” Xiaoming went on to say. “The best way to treat her is to take her as my wife.”
Fans responded to the news with, “Marry Baby next year. Have a baby the year after!”
In response, Angelababy’s manager Kim replied that she had not asked the actress about the news, due to the fact that their wedding rumors always abounded. “When it’s decided, we will let everyone know,” she added.

I hate how people call Angela “baby” I get that its her stage name & nickname but it’s so cringeworthy! I was watching Run brother run aka China’s running man… & all the cast member would be yelling “baby come over here”, “baby you can win”, “go baby go”, “baby you’re the best”… Uhhh it’s soo weird & sorry but it was actually so uncomfortable hearing it LOLOL! Sorry for random rant!
