Sammi Cheng Sau Man held a concert in Taipei on July 3rd. Sporting ten fashion-forward costumes, including a deep-V top, Sammi revealed skin and bones in her chest area. To lose weight for her performance, Sammi stopped eating rice in her diet and exercised intensively at the gym. Her weight dropped down to only 43 kg (95 lbs)!
It has been ten years since Sammi’s last concert in Taipei. The seats were packed at the concert hall. Sammi’s good friend, Andy Hui Chi On, was not present at the concert. Sammi’s parents and elder sister attended the concert to show their support.
Allegedly, $4 million (TWD) was spent on Sammi’s concert costume wardrobe. The most eye-catching was Sammi’s black and white deep-V outfit, which revealed her skeletal body.

Sammi has a wide face that would appear puffy when she weighs more. That’s the only reason why I think she lost so much weight, so that her face will appear slimmer on camera?

Anorexic would mean she doesn’t eat. I just think she is already so darn slim and due to hectic work schedule she slims down some more. She is not the first bone thin entertainer in HK. I can name a lot. She has always been very slim, except she has a puffy face.
It could be an angle shot or lightning.
And she has no breasts and she looks in the picture like back is in front. Why does these super slim entertainers feel appropriate to impose on us mere healthy weight mortals the sight of their bones in the name of sexiness? How sexy is bones?? I don’t understand.
Overrated singer, has always been. Now you can add anorexic to it. That makes her an overrated anorexic singer.
she has muscles on that skinny frame of hers tho… was at her Sydney concert and she defo couldn’t stop showing them off lol.. but yer.. she is way too skinny.
Funn, Sammi actually has a naturally plump figure. She was much plumper when she first entered the music industry in the early 90s and always wore jeans and loose outfits. She had several extreme diets in order to keep her weight down.
In the mid-90s and in her quest to reach superstardom, she went on an extreme diet to lose a lot of weight. In an old interview with Carol Dodo Cheng, Sammi spoke about her infamous watermelon diet, where she ate nothing except watermelon all day to lose weight. (The water content in the watermelon makes the stomach feel full without extra calories). In the interview, Sammi admitted that she loved to eat but wanted to lose weight to look more beautiful.
Jooky, Sammi’s arms remind me of Madonna’s. With zero fat on her body, Sammi’s biceps seem to stick out too much.

She’s always been obsessive about a skinny look. But, this is really extreme. I don’t think she cares about her health, as long as she achieves her skinny look, then she’s happy with herself…so sad! Especially if her fans thinks that is good and follow her trend.

for some reason i don’t think the pic look real tho. I saw her in couple of taiwan show lately she looks ok, a bit skinny side but not as scary as above pics. is it possible they photoshop those pics?.
I don’t see any problem here. Her thin muscled arms are stretched back and up so her ribs would be more visible. She’s beautiful and not too skinny at all.My ribs show at least this much just in normal positions and I’m healthy and I’m sure she is too.
