Following the shocking press announcement of the break up of Isabella Leong and her multi-billionaire boyfriend, Richard Li, Isabella has expressed her determination to pursue her dreams as an actress.
Isabella, once seen and admired by many single women as “Miss Cinderella” who has found her beloved wonderful Prince Charming, has just rocked the Hong Kong entertainment industry with her break up with Mr.Richard Li. Despite rumours that Isabella has received $30 billion from the Li family to raise their 3 sons, Isabella expresses her continued passion for acting and would like to re-embrace herself in her dreams to become a Hollywood movie star!
Isabella, already a mother of 3 sons, is only 22 years of age. Being so young and talented with good acting skills, she is seen to have endless opportunities in the entertainment business and her journey to become a Hollywood movie star may not be far.

Hollywood may indeed be more tolerant of Isabella’s rumor-filled past. Since she is no longer pursuing acting for money, Hollywood seems like the right target.
Isabella’s former boss, Albert Yeung of EEG, has significant influence and control over Hong Kong and China film markets. Since they ended their work relationship on a poor note, it makes sense for Isabella to look elsewhere.
Not all directors and investors in HK and China are controlled by Albert Yeung. There are already news that some well known directors who are not influenced by Yeung are more than ready to get Isabella into their movies.
Truth to be said, Isabella didn’t do much in The Mummy 3. It was all hype but I recognize her potential since the film Isabella.
Furthermore the Li family must’ve paid EEG some big bucks behind the scene. Even the news printed in EEG related newspapers aren’t painting her in negative light that much.
I agree, Jayne. Don’t bite the hands that feed you or burn bridges b/c you’ll never know when you will cross paths again – I suppose. So Isabelle is raising/keeping/has custody over her 3 sons as oppose to that billionaire?
@Tammy, although Isabella’s public statement said that she and Richard will be jointly raising their children, I suspect that the Li family will likely secure the custody rights.
Li Ka Shing strikes me as someone who will recognize his own kin, whether his grandsons were born out of wedlock or not. When Isabella gave birth to her eldest son in 2009, Li Ka Shing held a baby banquet and invited his millionaire friends to attend. Rumor has it he was very happy when the twin boys were born too.
When reporters chased after him for photos (due to recent split between Isabella and Richard), he was very gracious and didn’t yell at anyone. He said he would not answer questions, but allowed reporters to photos. He didn’t seem terribly upset by Richard and Isabella’s business. Their empire is so strong, this scandal barely shook their hairs. I suspect Mr. Li will take care of the little kids.
Since Isabella will pursue a Hollywood career, that also suggests she might have free time ahead.
I think she still has a bright future ahead. Like Jayne said, Albert Yeung might be highly influential in HK’s entertainment industry that it might hider her return to the HK scene. But I think the good news is that there are other directors out there that are embracing her return. I personally think she is a great actress with a lot of potential and she has this onscreen presence and charisma that not all 22 year old years would be able to convey.
I think with her good friendship with Michelle Yeoh, and the fact that she has already made her Hollywood debut in “Mummy Returns,” she has a very high chance of stepping into the Hollywood market. Best of luck to her.

Does she speak fluent english ? Because as talented as she might be, she is very limited in Hollywood if she doesn’t speak english. I heard it wasn’t her on The Mummy..
Just watch ‘Isabella’ onn TV. . For some who only has 1 year acting experience before she acted in Isabella, she acted very well. This girl really has talent in acting.
Wish her success of she really want to go back to acting.
