Since marrying Singaporean businessman Liu Zhimin (劉志敏) in 2008, 45-year-old retired TVB actress, Jacqueline Law (羅慧娟) lived the life of a socialite. However, last year, it was rumored that Jacqueline suffered from pancreatic cancer. Fortunately, Jacqueline possessed a cheerful personality and the cancer was able to be controlled. It was understood that Jacqueline recently entered the hospital due to illness. Good friend, Louie Castro (賈思樂) visited Jacqueline at the hospital the day before and indicated, “The situation is okay; there is no need for everyone to worry!”

I also felt that Jacqueline was a very talented actress from the 1990s. Despite her capable skills though, her stardom never seemed as big as her contemporaries such as Kitty Lai, Kathy Chow, Maggie Shiu?
I think Jacqueline has a wonderful knack for comedy. She was hilarious in (阿德也瘋狂), playing a reformed “wild child,” partnering with Lau Kong, of all people.
Of course, she also had great chemistry with Stephen Chow in “The Final Combat.”

Stephen Chow played Jacqueline’s boyfriend in the early episodes of (阿德也瘋狂). Yes Maggie Shiu was in this and I believe she played a romantic pair with hottie, David Siu Chung Hang.:)
I think her fame was as big as Kitty Lai, Kathy Chow, Maggie Shiu back then. I remember she always get paired up with Leon Lai. But, she later move to movies and then gone. I think he hearing lost contributed a lot to her fame decreasing. With hearing lost and depression, it’s hard to maintain work.
I also think that her fame was just as big as Kitty Lai and other actresses during that time. I really enjoyed her strong performances in The Legend of the Book and the sword. I love her in Saga of the Lost Kingdom as a supporting role, but she was sooo hilarious…I really miss seeing her in series and wish her well…

No, she married a businessman that is like 15-16 years older than her. I heard that he was already married before and has some grown children already. She met him at some event through some friends. He cared a lot about her and she was touched so agreed to marry him… You just google Jacqueline law’s wedding and you can see pictures of her and her husband at their wedding back in 2008.
I actually heard about this awhile already. I saw her pix at another event awhile ago(pretty recent though) and she had a wig.I think it is true that she has cancer. Wish her the best!

I didn’t even know she married. Pancreatic cancer is serious, in fact it could be terminal. I know I heard about percentage of dying is low, etc but from what I read those who gets pancreatic, ovarian, uterus, etc, most of them die within 1 year or less from diagnosis. It is pretty bleak.
Pancreatic cancer has a very, very poor prognosis. I wish her all the best.
