Jay Chou Suddenly Cancels Work, Hannah Quinlivan Has Allegedly Given Birth

It looks like Taiwan’s pop king may have already added another member to his family!

There’s been reports that Jay Chou (周杰倫) has canceled his work to fly back to Taiwan, where his wife Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌) has allegedly given birth to a baby boy. The couple who have married in 2014 also have a daughter Hathaway, born in July 2015.

Last November, during a television appearance, Hannah revealed that she was diagnosed with Polycystic ovary syndrome, and was advised to not try for another baby until she fully recovers. After a long three-month break, Jay announced on Valentine’s Day 2017 that they are expecting another baby, a boy.

A few days ago Jay, who has just signed on to appear in another season of the reality show Sing! China <中國新歌聲>, suddenly canceled work for the day and flew back to Taiwan from Hangzhou. It’s been said that Jay’s return to Taiwan was because Hannah was about to give birth.

However, despite these reports, neither Jay nor Hannah have updated their social media accounts about welcoming their baby boy. When reporters reached out to their representatives for comment, they responded by saying that the couple will eventually announce the good news when it’s time.
