Joey Yung Fought With Priscilla Wong When They Were Kids

Joey Yung (容祖兒) graced the press with a racy appearance at an event for a lingerie brand recently, wearing an extremely revealing shirt. Reporters pointed out that Joey’s top was very see-through and sexy, but Joey wittily responded, “It’s not much. I meant my body figure.”

Asking if Joey likes to shop for sexy intimate apparels, Joey revealed, “My mother actually does a lot of the shopping. Sometimes it’s not convenient for me to do it myself.” Does her mother have good taste? “Don’t doubt my mother’s taste! Sometimes she gives out surprises.” Joey said she prefers simpler-looking undergarments.

When speaking about intimacy, Joey was asked if her boyfriend, Wilfred Lau (劉浩龍), would send her some lingerie gifts. Joey immediately said, “Nope. I know some couples like to do it, but it’s hard to find lingerie that fits you.” Does Joey ask for Wilfred’s opinion when she buys her own undergarments? “I rarely do. I do like pretty lingerie, but often times they only look good but don’t fit.” Does Joey buy underwear for Wilfred? “I’ll shop with him sometimes.”

Model couple Sean Lau (劉青雲) and Amy Kwok (郭藹明) recently filmed a commercial together, making it their first acting project together in over fifteen years. While Joey is happy to see Sean and Amy together onscreen again, she said she would not want to do the same with Wilfred. “I want to separate work from my private life.”

At the mention of Priscilla Wong’s (黃翠如) popular online essay, which described her close relationship with rumored boyfriend Tony Hung (洪永城), Joey said she and Priscilla are close friends. “I’ve known her older sister since I was seven, but I was closer to her sister then. I remember she used to think I was stealing her sister so she fought with me.”

Joey said she has read a bit of Priscilla’s essay, and said, “I respect her decision. Sometimes friendships can last longer than relationships. It’s good to have soulmates.”

It sounds awkwaed in English, not really “poetic.” Someone needs to read in canto so I can hear it to see if it’s poetic lol.
