Raymond Lam’s (林峰) new rumored love interest, Karena Ng (吳千語), continued to praise him highly despite recent negative rumors. Since mainland Chinese actress, Liu Yuqi (劉羽琦), claimed that she has slept at Raymond’s house, the media branded it as a “relationship with sex, but no love.” The scandal did not alter Karena’s positive image of Raymond; she remained open-minded towards further advancement possibilities.
In July, Raymond was photographed on a dinner date with 18-year-old film actress, Karena Ng. Rumors claimed that they started dating after filming Love is…Pyjamas <男人如衣服>in April. Denying that they were dating, the duo said that there were other friends and colleagues present at the gathering.
The rumors did not make Raymond and Karena feel awkward. Karena said, “Being friends and working together, there will inevitably be rumors. I will face them naturally. I will not avoid seeing each other nor discontinue having dinner together.”
Karena expressed her positive impression of Raymond and did not regard him as possessing a flirtatious personality. She said, “Since we became friends, of course we have good conversations together. He treats friends well.”

Promoting her new film, Lan Kwai Fong 2 <喜愛夜蒲2>, yesterday, Liu Yuqi was asked to comment on her rumors with Raymond Lam, which are currently dubbed as a “relationship with sex, but no love.” Yuqi at first pretended that she did not understand the phrase due to her limited Cantonese. Later, she responded, “Sometimes, a woman will think too much. Please do not give me a hard time. I can face it and deal with it.”
