Kathy Chow and Godfrey Gao Caught Kissing
Kathy Chow Man Kei has been dating French boyfriend, Julien Lepeu, for almost five years. Last year, the paparazzi photographed Julien kissing music newcomer, Venus Cheung, on a street corner. Infidelity rumors quickly spread. However, Kathy and Julien’s relationship was not affected. Recently, Taiwanese actor, Godfrey Gao Yi Xiang was spotted kissing Kathy, sparking rumors as to whether Kathy was dating two men simultaneously!
Having a soft spot for Taiwanese men, Kathy had romantic rumors with Lien Chan and the pair were photographed entering the same hotel in 2004. Due to his topless pictorial featuring his attractive nipples, the 195 cm tall Godfrey Gao was known as “ Taiwan ’s #1 Nipple Man. ” Ten years younger than Kathy, Godfrey flew to Hong Kong to see her last week. After a candlelight dinner, the pair hugged several times and could not hold back their feelings. Godfrey kissed Kathy affectionately on the face.
In response to press inquiries, Kathy explained that she was only friends with Godrey. Was Kathy’s French boyfriend, Julien, upset about the incident? “Why would he be upset? Let’s not talk about it anymore!” (Did Julien see the photos already?) “I’m sure someone sent him the photographs.”
The press pointed out that Godfrey was the “King of Pink Nipples,”Kathy smiled and said, “How do you know my boyfriend doesn’t have pink nipples?” Asked whether Kathy was attracted to pink nipples in a man, she laughed awkwardly and did not respond.

Jayne: Godfrey Gao is a big hunk! From the photos, I sense a lot of chemistry between Kathy and Godfrey, but who knows whether they only have a friendship or there’s more? When I first saw the kissing photos, I thought that they kissed on the lips, but turns out it was only a kiss on the cheeks.
At first I thought it was Kathy CHow Hoi Mei. I heard that Kathy Chow Hoi Mei was dating someone from China that is 10 years younger than her too. I wonder if guys mind a woman being that much older than them. I think that is such a big age gap especially for the girl to be older than the guy.

According to mu mom, Chinese men are discouraged from pursuing women much older than they are (especially if the age gap is as wide as ten years or more) because the women will age much faster particularly after their first pregnancy and this may lead to infidelities if the love foundation between the couples is not strong and the men are good looking hunks.

Totally agree with you and my mom says the same exact things. She says that it is ok for guys to be even 15 years older than the girl since girls age really fast,especially after having the first child. She used to be even more strict and said that the guys always had to be older. However, she is a bit better now and says that it is ok if the guy is like 3-4 years younger at at most but not too many years or else the girl will look way too old for the guy. You are right, the guys(especially if they are hunks) can go looking for younger and prettier girls if they do not have a solid relationship. My mom thinks that relationships where the girl is way older than the guy rarely last long…Of course it varies from case to case, but the majority of them from what I have seen don’t seem to last long.
I don’t know who Godfrey Gao is.. but looking at the photos he looks hot, and I always thought Kathy was really hot as well. If they are a couple, they make a HOT couple. LOL
He is hot, but I can’t tell if there is anything romantic going on between them. Kissing on the cheeks is very common among friends and coworkers. Sometimes men are attracted to women 10+ years older than them, usually if the women is quite feminine, beautiful and smart. They find it attractive. But like most of you said, how long it will last is another story because it is very rare that you see these relationships last.

The same goes for older man and very young girls as in 40s with girls 20 years younger. Actually nowadays marriages of any age hardly works out long term.

Nowadays, I hardly see anyone married to only one person in their life. Many people(normal citizens and celebs) are married at least twice in their life. It is not to say that being married to one person throughout your life is something that does not happen anymore, however, it is pretty rare…

Thanks Funn. I googled for her and Jackman just now. She’s 13 years his senior. That’s quite a big age difference for an older woman younger man couple and this couple proves that such marriage can work. 14 years marriage. It’s longer than a lot of hollywood couples. He married quite early too. Only 28 years old then. It’s early for a man.
And he started dating her in 1991. So, that means they have been together for 20 years. Such strong love. I admire him even more now. With so many fickle relationships in Hollywood, this man has been together with the same woman for 20 years. A woman he started dating when he’s only 23. Nowadays, 23 is supposed to be still young, still exploring, not settled etc.

I think it depends on when you are together. If the men was in his 20s and the woman was in her 30s, then of course it would be like an infatuation which will die soon as the men have not fully reached their maturity yet. But if they met later on in life, say 40s vs 50s, I think by then, the chance of the relationship to survive would be a little stronger as both might have the chance to experienced, lived, and learned and know exactly, hopefully, what each one is looking for. Some men just like mature woman who knows exactly what they want rather than babysitting a 20 something who has no clue what life is all about, so it’s a case by case basis. I wouldn’t mind dating a guy who is 5-6 yrs younger than me as long as there is a mutual understand of each other’s expectation.

I think it is true that it depends on when you meet a person, but I think 40s and 50s are a bit late in life. By then I think if you are in a relationship it is more for companionship rather than the romantic love type of relationship. Therefore, the age will matter even less. It also varies from case to case as we can see. A guy can be really committed even when they are in their 20s and a girl is in their 30s. There are a lot of guys in their 20s that are already mature and know a lot more about life than guys in their 30s. I don’t believe that age always defines how much you know about life and the world, but also the experiences and things that you have gone through in life. Once this stupid girl that claimed to be a psychologist told me that she claimed to know more about life than I did just because she was older. Sorry, but that is NOT true at all… I have been through a lot in life and can understand life better than a lot of people older than me…
