Katy Kung Wants To Share a Mortgage With BFF, Elaine Yiu

Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) has been making frequent appearances in dramas in recent years, and it seems that she is close to earning enough to buy her very own home.

Katy and her Come Home Love <愛·回家> co-star Kenny Wong (黃德斌) appeared at a taping for talk show All Things Girl <姊妹淘> on April 8. Playing a pair of siblings on the TVB sitcom, Katy revealed that Kenny often shared relaxation methods to help relieve stress on the set.

Currently living in a rental unit with good friend Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Katy jokingly called their home an “old maiden’s house”. When Kenny teased that she only has eyes for tall, rich, and handsome men, Katy denied it and said that she has already found her perfect partner. “I don’t want tall, rich, and handsome. I am okay with staying at my old maiden’s house. Too bad Elaine Yiu is not a boy, she could be my boyfriend.” Because of their strong friendship, Katy has already decided to ask Elaine to chip in should she fulfill her goal of purchasing a home this year.

For now, Katy is keeping herself busy with work to make more money towards a down payment. Currently filming Under The Veil <無雙譜> (formerly Double Fantasies), Katy will only enjoy a short break before beginning work on a new series in June. Taking advantage of her free time, she has joined her on-screen big brother Kenny in sponsored motorcycle lessons. “I’ve already fell three times during my first lesson. When my male classmates saw me riding, they all stepped aside to give me space. It was so embarrassing!”
