Kenneth Ma, Priscilla Wong are Judges for Miss Chinese New Zealand

The 2014 Miss Chinese New Zealand Pageant was successfully held on \September 6 in Henderson, Auckland. TVB artistes Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Priscilla Wong (黃翠如), and Anderson Junior (安德尊) attended the event as judges, and even had the opportunity to hold an autograph session and play games with New Zealand fans.

The twelve finalists of the pageant opened the contest with a dance number. They each showed off their charisma and charms by wearing five different outfits throughout the night, including evening gowns and cheongsams. The top five were also arranged to act out a scene from the TVB drama Ghost Dragon of Cold Mountain <寒山潛龍> with Kenneth, Priscilla, and Anderson.

Contestant #7 Christina Jin (金詩迪) was crowned Miss Chinese New Zealand and also won Miss Photogenic and the Charming Beauty Award. Christina will be representing Auckland in the upcoming 2015 Miss Chinese International pageant hosted by TVB.

First runner-up was #4 Ancus Leung (梁瑞心), and second runner-up was Caroline Hong (洪謙). Contestant #3 Cecilia Zou (鄒曉菁), who did not make it into the top five, won Miss Friendship, while top five finalist #2 Queena Sun (孫夢璇) won the Most Dynamic and Stylish Award.

  3. Definitely a fan of Kenneth Ma but worry if he is good choice for being a pageant judge…since he was also on the panel in the recent Miss HK and we all agree the terrible top 3 selected by the judges…Did he make the right selections this time for NZ?
