Kenneth Ma’s Romance with Jackie X Over After 9 Months

Since Moses Ho (陳豪) stepped out of the spotlight to focus on his family life, Kenneth Ma (馬國明) has been groomed to succeed Moses as TVB’s leading man. This was derailed when news of Kenneth’s romance with a young pseudo-model Jackie X (徐佳琦) leaked last August when the pair were caught sharing a car ride together. After about nine months of dating, Kenneth and Jackie have reportedly broken up.

Known for her mild-mannered personality and frugal nature, 27-year-old Jackie appears to have a rather mature temperament despite being younger than 41-year-old Kenneth. Nevertheless, the couple reportedly still had communication difficulties due to their 14-year-age gap. Kenneth also allegedly tired of Jackie after a while, especially her girlish mannerisms. It was Kenneth who asked to break up with Jackie.

Heartbroken and with a lackluster career in Hong Kong, Jackie is rumored to have returned to her hometown in Shanghai with a defeated spirit.

Kenneth’s response to the entire story is a flat denial. He said with a note of resignation in his voice, “This whole story is so false, it’s ridiculous! I have no comments! Whatever it is, I’m not dating anyone right now. Thank you for your concern!”

On the status of his relationship with Jackie, Kenneth said curtly, “We have always been friends!”
