Since becoming a triple-award winning TV King, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) has been branded a “diamond bachelor.” With fans eager to see him find true love, the 42-year-old heartthrob was often linked to his beautiful costars. Rumors started in the Weibo community that Kevin has been dating mainland actress, Serena Hu (胡桑) for two months!
Currently filming mainland drama, Love and Passion <萬水千山風雨情>, in Shanghai, Kevin was quickly linked to costar Serena Hu. The gossip may have been fueled by Serena’s frequent posting of photos taken together with Kevin. Apple Daily reported that Serena often glued herself to Kevin on the filming set, went to the bar together, and even shared a meal at Kentucky Fried Chicken! Kevin’s dinner date photos with Serena were widely circulated among Weibo users.
Kevin has since clarified that Serena Hu already had a boyfriend. Thus, Kevin was quite angry at the people who had started the rumor that he and Serena were a couple. Kevin wrote on his Weibo blog, “If you want other people to respect you, please respect other people first! I feel that this is a basic human ethic!”
Kevin’s passionate blog entry drew support from his fans, who condemned the people who had fanned the false rumors. Other fans felt that whether Kevin chose to date Serena or not, they will continue to support him.
Serena Hu has not made a direct comment over her rumors with Kevin. She thanked a friend in response to a comment left on her blog.

Apparently, there is another new rumour going on. It is not Serena Hu, but Liu Shishi … hehe. KC is just too hot nowadays.
I still think the best bet is with Ah Sheh. KC already said he will back in HK by July to recover from 20 months of non stop filming, and at the same time will devote more time to his love live.
I believe they are still attracted to one another. Previously, their relationship could not move beyond the ‘good friend’ status. The timing issue (as both were busy and ambitious in their respective career)is one reason. But the more inportant reason was KC did not have the confidence to pursue given that Charmaine was obviously more succesful and richer than KC (afteral Charmaine owned several properties while KC was still living in rented apartment).
Things have moved beyond that now, and can they rekindle and move further in next few months? I think Charmaine is still waiting for KC’s move, but for how long? All these rumours of KC with attractive and younger co-stars in mainland will likely to unnerve Charmaine. As for KC, he is still as ambitious as ever, and have been saying he still need a few more years to consolidate his success.
Isn’t Liu shishi rumor old, like even before Annie’s rumor? The tabloids must like to recycle now.
Anyway, I think Kevin and charmaine were more than “good friends”. They probably broke up b/c Kevin couldn’t handle the pressure back then.
I agree that charm might still be waiting for him. But judging by his new taste in gf’s (that mainland model Jenny), I think she should move on. He’s not ready to settle down during this peak in his career.

if charmaine is really waiting for kc, then i find that quite sad. timing has passed, and he is no longer interested in her, so yeh just move on. now that he is more successful, he has more choices to choose from. before not many choices, so he got lucky and chose charmaine. but sorry but the train is gone and she just has to catch another one.

Deep down KC do want to settle down and start a family especially now that he can afford it. Charmaine is quite compatible with him, mature and has her own money. All she wants is love.
