Kevin Cheng Doesn’t Know How to Do Business

Raymond Cho (曹永廉), Michael Tong (唐文龍), Timmy Hung (洪天明) and his wife Janet Chow (周家蔚), as well as a few more of their non-industry friends held a star-studded press conference for their upcoming business. Industry friends such as Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Wayne Lai (黎耀祥), Tavia Yeung (楊怡), Ron Ng (吳卓羲), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), and more went to support.

Receiving a “friendship” price to attend the event, Kevin gave his blessings to his close friends, and hopes to see their business grow fruitfully in the future. Asking if Kevin is interested in starting a business of his own, he said, “I don’t know how to do business. It’s not for everyone. Some people are more talented on this subject than others. I definitely don’t have it!”

Kevin then said that his best way to ensure his own financial security is to listen to his mother. “I’m a simple guy. I just listen to my mother’s advice.” (Investing property?) “Yes. It’s safe to have at least a few ‘bricks’ (properties) with you.” (How many ‘bricks’ do you have then?) “I can stack them!”

Asking if he has some ‘bricks’ all over the world, Kevin said, “It’s not just in Hong Kong. I do have relatives in the United States, as well as other places. [The properties] were invested with the help of my relatives. It’s my hard-earned money after all. If you want to invest, it’s better to invest at a place where you know someone you trust can take care of it.”

Whatever happened to his so-called production company founded right at the heel of BBJX’s successful run?
