Lawrence Ng, Edwin Siu, and Fred Cheng Perform in Vancouver

Lawrence Ng (吳啟華), Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), and Fred Cheng (鄭俊弘) met with fans on September 2 in Vancouver. The stars promoted their recent TVB series – Battle of Tomorrow <再戰明天>, The Hippocratic Crush 2 <On Call 36小時II>, Brother’s Keeper <巨輪>, The Last Steep Ascent <天梯>, The Confidant <大太監>, and Karma Rider <師父.明白了>.

The next day, the three artistes made a second appearance at the Fairchild Fans Party 2014 at River Rock Show Theatre in Vancouver. Entering a full stadium of enthusiastic audience members, the stars personally greeted and shook hands with the fans, and sang three songs each.

Born in Vancouver, Fred was especially happy to return to his hometown and greet the locals. As a big fan of the Vancouver Canucks, Fred wrote his jersey in support of Vancouver’s hockey team. On the other hand, Edwin and Lawrence started the show with their sleek back suits.

Soon enough, Lawrence changed into a black-and-white shirt to impress viewers with a magic show. Along with a professional magician, Lawrence shocked fans with his ability to move a table without laying a finger on it. For his second trick, Lawrence simply shattered a wine glass inside a glass container without touching it.

  1. No. This article has misinformation.

It wasn’t on September 2nd. The press conference + meet & greet was on September 3rd. The actual party was on September 4th.

They also visited Toronto several days ago as well. Miriamfanz had a blurb on it on her website.

    1. Yep, I was very excited to see them in Toronto! Lol, Lawrence didn’t play any magic tricks in Toronto though.

I have pictures and videos from the show in Toronto: http://t.co/819kj6ibVq

      1. I missed the show, and am going to watch it at its replay later on this week. Hope I will not miss it again.

Lawrence Ng looked very good for his age. He is now 50 years old, and he looks like early 40s.

      2. Eventually I watched the show last night. I haven’t watched Fairchild TV for a while and kept missing the show when it was aired.

It was good …………. at least all 3 artistes could sing. It was the first time that I listened to Lawrence Ng Kai Wah’s vocal performance. Surprisingly he was pretty good for an actor. Personally I think his voice is better and stronger than Edwin Siu’s and he sang better than Edwin. Also he aged very well for a 50-year-old man.

      3. I remember the last time Lawrence sang a themesong for TVB was the Sabre series in 2000. His vocal is quite ok for an actor. I like that song :).

  2. Why do asian fans like to give their idol/s stuff animals? Give them flowers, your art works, your phone#, your bra, etc…I get that! But stuff animals?? They’re grown ass men! Gee!!

    1. Why do they need to give them anything at all. At the end of the day, it’s a waste of money. 😀 🙁 LOL!

    2. I don’t know y but last time I saw this reporter in New York and we were talking about Ruco and raymond Wong he say that if u bring stuff animals they would likely take pics with us that’s whst linda chung does

      1. regardless fred is very generous. he took pictures with a lot of his vancouver fans.

  3. Like Lawrence said filming for tvb pay can be low but tvb can get their artist alot of over work so u end up earning the same… Tvb last year put Lawrence chi lam and Francis back in the spotlight

  4. can you pls. fix that date change?
it was on september 3rd. NOT 2nd. on 2nd, lawrence and edwin was on the airplane.
