Thirty-four year-old Leehom Wang, who was plagued previously by gay rumors, was spotted drinking at a bar with Taiwanese singer, Angela Chang Shao Han, who also possessed an ambiguous sexual orientation. Leehom, Angela, and their friends stayed at a private lounge room drinking for two hours in Shanghai .
Leehom and Angela met while collaborating on a commercial together earlier in the year. Without any current work projects on hand, both Leehom and Angela appeared relaxed. The pair sat side-by-side, with Angela’s younger sister standing behind her. Sharing a toast, Leehom and Angela talked to each other intimately and shared frequent laughs. It appeared that Leehom and Angela knew each other quite well!
When the pair left, Leehom, who appeared slightly drunk, embraced Angela closely. The pair did not seem to mind that other pedestrians were able to see them. Leehom and Angela reluctantly said goodbye to each other for the night.

Jayne: Since there were many people present at their “bar date,” it’s difficult to say whether there were romantic sparks between Leehom and Angela. But they do seem like good friends.
During the release of “Love in Disguise,” Leehom admitted that he was in a current relationship. So who is his “mystery girlfriend?” Many people thought it was Crystal Liu, but there has not been any follow-up since the movie came out.

I don’t understand why the gay rumors for Leehom persist. Despite getting older, he still has a “pretty boy” face, but otherwise why does the press say he is gay?
Because he is not married. Nowadays it is typical to assume any unmarried handsome successful guy must be gay. People just never really accepted the theory perhaps, just perhaps he is a heterosexual male who likes being single. Bachelorhood is over, so if spinsterhood. Now everybody and anybody single is gay. Anybody married is supposedly in denial. Yes I am sick of these assumptions.

Of course I agree with your implication that in the end whether they are married, dating, or single the media will spin some news up to make them look bad anyway.
I love Leehom so gay or straight it’s cool with me. I just hope he doesn’t fake it, if you’re gay come out, if not then do what you do.
