Linda Chung Supports Charmaine Sheh and Ram Chiang in TVB Anniversary Awards

Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) is nominated for My Favorite Female Character and Best Actress awards for the 48th TVB Anniversary Awards. Despite two prominent roles in Tiger Cubs 2 <飛虎II> and All That is Bitter is Sweet <大藥坊>, Linda expressed her support for Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) instead.

Linda feels grateful to have been given various opportunities over the last decade at TVB. She believes that winning an award is simply a bonus and it is more important for an artiste to enjoy the filming experience. Although Charmaine is rumored to be the designated TV Queen in a leaked list of winners, Linda does not feel disappointed.

Linda commented, “Charmaine is TVB’s Number  One Sister. Before I even entered the industry, I already loved watching her series in Vancouver. In recent years, her acting has continued to improve and her role as Deng-Jeh in Line Walker <使徒行者> was very good. She is my role model. Based on experience alone, she wins by a mile. If Charmaine wins, I will be very happy for her!”

As well, Linda believes Roger Kwok (郭晉安) and Joe Ma (馬德鐘) have the biggest chances in TV King. Filming Witness Insecurity <護花危情> with Ram Chiang (蔣志光), Linda said Ram deserves to win Best Supporting Actor with his excellent performance in Come On, Cousin <老表,你好hea!>.

  1. wow!!!!!!! thanks linda for supporting Ram chiang and Charmaine Sheh!!! i wish them both good luck for the “TVB anniversary awards 2014”!!!

  2. It’s ok babe. This year is Charmaine. Hopefully the next few years is yours. Have to be a likeable role and you really need to get back on track with your acting. It’s ok to fall and then learn how to get back up and be better.

    1. The only role she is not as bad in is portraying a weak crying girl. She’s horrible in anything else…just look at the mess she got herself in Tiger Cubs II.

      1. She was not really bad when she acted in cute/naive/innocent girl but I agree and personally consider her acting in Tiger Cubs 2 very very bad. Others might disagree but her expression just made me laugh, not the kind of seriously depressed/cautious due to the past. I gave up on 2/3 episode, I came back and watched 7 (or 8), the scene when she saw Oscar Leung with seriousness/craziness/madness, I laughed again

  3. I remember reading an article about her believing she should win the BA this year lol. That actually sadden me because I really liked her, but after reading that article it somewhat gave me a bad vibe ;( But anyway I do hope one day she will become a BA

    1. I believed it was before her series got broadcast. Anyway, her acting was kind of weak but she might get improved in the future.

    1. I agreed with all you guys said about Linda, she is really over acting in tiger2, especially her face’s expression is bad, bad, bad. Since the tiger2 has been aired up to now, her face on the screen is always up tied. Seems every minute she is ready to fight with someone, she doesn’t know how to relax her face, the other actors/actresses in tiger2 acted not like her at all. She should go to take a course before she appears in the action drama next time.

      1. Linda was great in Witness Insecurity with Bosco. I love her in those roles…crazy over Bosco in that drama.

  4. linda is perfect for sweet roles.
for TC2, her face must be tired from filming everyday from that constipated expression.
